Cute NOLA themed house - close to town!

This house is located about a mile from "the action" of old town Eureka Springs - which is perfect. It's really close to the Passion of the Christ as well. As far as the house, it's perfect for 2 couples or a couple and kids. There are several steps, so if steps are an issue, this is not the place for you, we were fine with it, though. It is decorated completely New Orleans style. There is everything you need, including washer and dryer. We would definitely stay again.

Girls weekend

The house is super cute and located in a great location to walk downtown to all the shops and fun. You must be prepared to climb quite a bit of stairs to get up to the place and back down again. If you have trouble with stairs, do not rent this place! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are immaculate. We could’ve used some extra blankets as it was cold in the mornings, and there was no coffee available! That is a no-no in my books when it comes to places to stay.. Otherwise, it was a great stay in the place is adorable.

Great place lots of steps

Great place. The only issue for us were the amount of steps getting into the home. Other than that it was a great place with great location to all activities

Buyer Beware

We were initially drawn to this rental because of the many glowing reviews, but after our stay, we realized most of those seem to come from unverified sources—and unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the hype. The beds were a major issue: loud, squeaky, and hard/uncomfortable. We reached out to ask if a mattress pad or extra comforter could be provided to help, but we were told to get one ourselves (literally). Another big downside was the bug problem; we encountered several throughout our stay. The decor, while possibly appealing to some, was excessive—there were many items on every surface that we had little space for our things. Also, be aware that the stairs are much steeper and more numerous than they appear in the listing photos. That said, the space was newly remodeled, the layout was functional, and they did have nice hand soap. With a few basic improvements—comfortable bedding, pest control, owners who were more gracious to guest requests and clearer photos/expectations—this place could be a great stay. But as it stands, we wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Nice property but poor communication.

The house was adorable, cozy and clean! There were so MANY stairs and thankful that our group is healthy enough to walk up them. I would recommend mentioning this as not everyone is as capable to climb as easily!I messaged the host several times, I believe up to 6 times, to request a late checkout with zero response! We ended up staying about an hour after checkout with no additional fees or complaints. Some sort of response would have been nice though, it’s about respect for me!!

The house was very nice and decorated beautifully. But it was not very clean (dusty, dirty silverware, dishes, countertops in the kitchen and showers.) Hot water ran out easily when during showers. 45 steps going up to the front door! I would not stay there again

House on a cliff with many steps

There are 40+ steps to climb before you reach the porch. Steps are made of uneven stones & then an open metal staircase. So if you have fear of heights, this home may not be for you. It also requires you to carry luggage up & then down, so don’t pack too heavy. Once you reach the door, the house is beautiful on the inside. Nice kitchen & bedrooms very comfortable.

Property manager slow to respond

It was very hot out and air didn’t work. Made it very hot inside and hard to sleep. It was the next day before they responded. They did get it fixed the next day. Cute house though.

Great location and property

The property is in the historic district, but on the far end, so it is quieter than if you stayed in middle. For me that is a plus. You walk a little further, but that is the charm of Eureka. A huge plus that the property has on-site parking. This is a rarity in Eureka. You climb stairs to get to the entry which is on a covered porch. So you are able to sit high above the street and enjoy the view. The place is charming and the beds are comfortable . An issue arose in one of the bathrooms. Communication got tangled between the app and email. Ultimately the issue was resolved. It was difficult to find check out procedures on the app, but was sent them after I requested. I think mostly these were due to the VRBO app itself, and the fact the property is managed by a company with multiple employees and I got responses from different people each attemot attempt at relaying information.Overall, I would stay here again.
