We really enjoyed the amenities that were just around the bend and the beautiful views. The condo is straight across from a lake which is also a plus. Matt answered all my questions in a timely and helpful manner.
This property was great! It was clean had a well stocked kitchen and was right across from the Bald Mountain Lake. We brought our SUP boards so it was important to us to have easy access to water. Bald Mountain Lake was great for an easy quiet and relaxing paddle due to the fact there are no motorized water craft allowed on that lake. We packed up the boards and drove through the property down to Lake Lure for a longer more adventurous paddle. We took full advantage of the free access to the steam room, sauna and hot tub EVERY night. I highly recommend Victory kitchen for breakfast or lunch it’s only a 4 minute drive down the road. Charles the owner was very kind and we enjoyed the southern hospitality. They also have a cute little farm market if you’re in need of produce. I can’t say enough about how much we liked this property and location. The only criticism I would give is that the living room furniture is not very comfortable and could not accommodate a full house if needed. Also the lighting was a little wonky. Neither of these things changed the enjoyment of our stay. The property exceeded our expectations for the value. We hope to book with Matt again in the near future.

Loved this property! Great views of golf and the water, stocked with many of the necessities, and comfy couch and beds. The resort amenities are fantastic as well!
Loved our stay and the view was amazing. The beds were super comfy and house was well-stocked. Everything was super smooth and owner is responsive and communicative.
We had a wonderful stay here!!! The property was perfectly located within the resort…beautiful golf course and lake views. The home was equipped with all the amenities you need including charging stations in every room and plenty of towels, and linens! It was a fantastic vacation and we will definitely be back! Host was very easy to communicate with & very timely!
The best place ever. The condo was amazing, the beds slept great and the place was so clean. We never left the resort it had all we needed. The owner was great to work with. Already planning my next trip.
We had a great time during our family Christmas vacation at Rambling Bald. The host was attentive and pleasant, the accommodations were wonderful. We will definitely be coming back!
Great location and the resort and golf courses were in terrific condition. Bald Mountain Lake was a good alternative to Lake Lure this summer. Villa was comfortable and nice extras like coffee pods and laundry detergent. We would stay again.
Can't get any better than this! First time visiting this particular unit and we know we will return time and time again. Buffalo Lake view from back and #1 green off front deck. Never a dull moment. The condo was neat & tidy, so very well stocked. Almost over-stocked! Our host went above and beyond & thought of every detail. Kitchen had everything we could possibly need as we like to cook in. Great mattress's, pillows, cozy throws/blankets. We love Lake Lure..Thanks Matt! We'll be back!V & J
Great communication, views of the mountains and course were very relaxing and able to quickly get to/from the resort amenities.

This stay was challenging for my family. Check-in was easy, the location was excellent, the mountain view was beautiful, and amenities were within easy walking distance. However, when we entered the unit, we were immediately met with a strong grease odor in the kitchen and ants on the countertops. We opened the doors and windows, unpacked, and tried to settle in, but soon found ants crawling on our legs while sitting on the sofa. We purchased ant bait traps from a local store, and while they captured large numbers of ants under the sofa and around the countertops, the ants remained present throughout our stay, suggesting a broader issue. Storage space was also limited. There were only two small upper cabinets available for food storage. The closets were filled with moving boxes/supplies, leaving little usable space since we didn't want to use the countertops. At night, we noticed inconsistent lighting. Some bulbs were bright white, others warm white, and others a deeper (banana) yellow. Often in the very same fixture, which was disorienting. In addition, half of the lights in the master bedroom didn't work. I also noticed several extension cords hanging in the air. One extension cord socket was exposed directly above the sofa, making it accessible to my kids sitting against the wall. I raised these concerns with the host and sent pics, but the response was defensive and condescending. We will not be staying here again, and after our exchange, I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

Tiffany was a rather difficult guest. She had a list of complaints longer than every guest this year combined. The feeling definitely is mutual and she will not be welcomed back to my house. All the things she complained about are things that happen with a house. Very unreasonable person.
