We spent a month here, and within a few days it felt just like home. The kitchen is updated and comes with all the dishes, pots and pans you should normally need.
There are two bedrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) with closets and dressers for your use. The beds were very comfortable. There is no air conditioning so we used the standing fan from the porch the first few night which worked fine. There is also an office/sitting room upstairs.
The bathroom is a good size and has been updated nicely. All towels provided.
The den has pretty views of hills and mountains. A beautiful rock fireplace adorns the room.
The back porch is glassed in. There is a heater to warm up colder days, and windows can be open to allow a breeze in on warmer days. Pretty views and wildlife may be right outside the porch.
The house sits in a quiet neighborhood, and is just about a 1/4 mile walk to Lake Estes.
If you are looking for “Fancy,” and all the newest gadgets, this may not be for you. If you’re looking for a true mountain home, check this place out! We highly recommend it.
