The Lake House has a Cozy coastal vibe. It’s on a quiet spring-fed Lake in Umatilla Florida. This charming home is newly built and fully furnished with up-to-date amenities and utilities. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, our comfortable home has room for the whole family! The Primary and Secondary bedrooms both have views overlooking the Lake with doors in each room for private entrance/exit onto the back patio. Our large furnished patio is complete with a pergola, fire pit, gas grill, and large outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The home sits on a large rolling backyard which ends at a private sandy beach and a small private dock. Two canoes and a kayak are all available for use. Relax and unwind on the lounge chairs and admire the beautiful sunrises and sunsets (which are both visible from the property's backyard) over the lake. Two fire pits for when outdoor activities and group fun continue into evenings gathered by the warm light of the fire. The property is a short bike ride to the quaint Town of Umatilla with a coffee shop, an ice cream parlor with homemade ice cream, a delicious Mexican restaurant. It's a 10-minute drive to Eustis and a 15-minute drive to the Vibrant downtown Mount Dora. Restaurants w cuisine from all over the world ! Both have amazing unique shopping and festivals all year long.We are a 15 min drive to Ocala National Forest and many of the area's most beautiful natural springs. Florida's famous East Coast beaches, New Smyrna and Daytona are 1hr and 15 drive. North Lake Community is 10 mins and The Big House athletic complex is just 25 minutes away - We are also just an hour's drive to the Disney Parks, Universal Studios, and Sea World -the house is located close enough to drive to all these places but also just far enough out of town to slow down and have a restful and recharging day. The house sits at the end of the street which ends in a culdesac, It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood with very little traffic - a public boat ramp and a larger dock just a quarter of a mile away from the property. We stayed at the lake house for a family weekend getaway! We had an amazing stay. The property was absolutely gorgeous,had an amazing view,and was stocked w anything and everything you could possibly need. One of the best VRBO'S we have ever been to. My children loves to fishand the paddle boat and my husband and I loved the view. We will recommend this place to othersand will definitely be coming for another visit!!

If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing retreat, this is the place. I loved that the host had all kinds of things set up for our convenience. The house is absolutely gorgeous with a stunning view of the lake. We had such a great time kayaking and fishing. We will definitely be booking again. I accidentally left some of my belongings there and Shery reached out to us to get them to me. She is fantastic!!!

We have always wanted to own a Vacation Rental and love creating spaces our guests will feel at home and be able to truly relax and enjoy the scenery - We want you to think of The Lake House as your Home away from Home.

Why they chose this property

The House is located down a long quiet street surrounded by private Homes -with Woodlands on one side and a spring-fed lake on the other. Our street ends in a Cul-de-sac so we get very little activity other than residents. There are Beautiful lake views from many rooms of the house. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your very own private Beach and Dock on the property. Public boat ramp and dock a quarter mile down the road for launching your boat. This neighborhood is a 5-minute drive from the quaint town of Umatilla. The house's location is a perfect mix of serenity and nature, with a unique and quiet town complete with coffee, ice cream, gas, and groceries from independent and small businesses that add to the area's charm. If you are planning to utilize our up-to-date and newly built kitchen or simply taking a longer stay at the Lake House, you can stock up on groceries and ingredients at the Public grocery store just an 8-minute drive away. Any pharmacutical needs can be picked up at a walgreens in the same complex.

What makes this property unique

The Lake House is brand new construction with all new appliances. It has everything you would want or need, from extra towels, linens, basic toiletries, and a fully stocked kitchen. We have a 52" TV with free wifi and access to lots of streaming services. We have a large electric fireplace to add to the homey feel and lots of cozy blankets to curl up on the couch and watch a movie with family or just read a book. There are plenty of quiet spots in the house to escape for some alone time. Desks in every room if you need to catch up on emails. We have two full bathrooms with designer tiles and fixtures. The primary bathroom has a large shower stall and a private toilet room. The hall bath has a tub for relaxing or bathing your little ones. Two fire pits- each great for nighttime s'mores- one on the white sandy beach and one on a large deck off the back of the house. We have kayaks you can use to explore the Lake and its large variety of wildlife. As well as many fishing poles and gear to fish for the local largemouth bass. We have a large garage set up for hanging out or playing board games, puzzles, mini ping pong, corn hole, frisbee, beach racquetball, and more. We have a large outdoor shower with hot and cold water for just cooling off or an extra spot for showering. Our property is newly built and complete with everything you need for a fun, relaxing and quiet getaway.
