Very good

The property was good for what we needed. The only bad things were that the water pressure was not good, and the creek along the back of the property is pretty low so there was no fishing available in it.
If you are looking for a place to stay just outside of Deadwood, this is a great location. The kitchen was well stocked for our family to prepare meals. We all loved to relax in the hot tub as well.
This place is a perfect place for a good get away. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to go to deadwood, but not wanting to stay in a hotel with a casino.
When we travel we are never at our rental except to sleep and shower so this place was perfect! Offered us a great place to park as we are picky about that too. It does say cabin but is a refurbished trailer house which wasn't a problem at all for us.
This wouldn’t be a property if you have little kids. Highway in front can get busy. But works great if you want to see deadwood and in a good location. Neighbors are extremely nice and great views.

Deceiving online pictures
Online pictures are very deceiving. It was listed as a cabin, but it actually was a very old single wide mobile home. It had a bad odor inside it. The plumbing was not good, had poor water pressure, and the drain in the bathtub wouldn’t drain. We ended up fixing the bathtub drain, poured some drain cleaner in it. The landscaping was overgrown. A couple of the windows didn’t have blinds or working blinds in them. Needless to say I won’t be going back there to stay or referring anyone else to stay there either. Overall, it was a poor to ok stay!

Single-wide on a slant
When we got the code we entered it but the keyed doorknob was locked. Thankfully Brandi remembered that the owner kept the keyson a nail under the Hottub deck which my girlfriend found right away! We were in !the back bedroom is not plump(it slants a bit ) I wanted to give it 2.5 but gave it a 3!

Disappointed
Property was portrayed as a cozy cabin, it is actually a really old single wide trailer. No screens on the windows, musty smell, insects on the entry door and porch. The rooms were small and crowded. I wouldn’t have stayed there if I could have got a refund. Very disappointed.

Not accurate description
The cabin is portrayed as remote cabin, it is a crappy trailer with low ceilings, horrible water pressure in the shower, smelled like smoke in the couch cushions and bedding. Also if you are traveling with a significant other the only bed large enough for two people is a lower bunk of a bunk bed, and even that is small for two adults over 5’5”. My boyfriend had to sleep on a twin bed because he is 6’3” and couldn’t sleep on the full size bed without hitting his head. The trailer is only a few miles outside of Deadwood, which is convenient. There was a full can of trash in the kitchen when we arrived which made me wonder if it had been properly cleaned before we arrived.. Only accurate description in the online posting was the hot tub, but even that was not private from the neighbors. The neighbors were smoking pot and it smelled strongly if you sat outside. It is right off 385 and very noisy with road traffic.

Don't stay in the winter!
The "cabin" is just a small single wide trailer house. It was clean enough but a little run down for what we were expecting. My real issue was the snow removal or lack there of. We showed up and couldn't even figure out if it was our rental or not because we couldn't get into the driveway. We ended up finding a shovel in the garage and digging out a spot for our vehicle. I contacted the host and she said it would be cleared by the next day. It wasn't cleared for two more days. I understand it was a big snow storm and it took a while to get everything dug out, but as paying customers I believe we should have either had our driveway cleared or been given the option of a refund instead of having to dig through knee deep snow for two days. We would have much preferred a hotel where we could have gotten ourselves and our belongings in and out properly. The winter storm was out of the hosts control, but the way it was handled was very disappointing. The host never took responsibility for the issue and blamed everything on the storm and the snow removal guy. We will not be coming back.
