A last minute Spring break week cancellation makes for a great couples get-away!

NOTE: Air Conditioning (A/C) is NOT available in our condo. With just a few exceptions A/C is not permitted at North Coast Village.

7 NIGHTS, MINIMUM. DOUBLE OCCUPANCY: 2 persons.

Our Las Palmas del Mar is a fully upgraded and remodeled ocean view 1 bedroom 1 bath unit with approximately760 sq feet of living space. We have white water views from our Southwest facing balcony which features a dining counter with swivel captains chairs for outdoor entertaining. Inside you will be immediately soothed by the high end remodel which features custom travertine stone floors, complemented by granite and stone counters, crown molding with contemporary paint in soothing muted tones. We have all brand new stainless steel appliances in our kitchen and all new pots and pans and dining equipment too. Our bedroom was redone lengthening the hallway by an extra 18 inches and adding a door which gives privacy and created a linear closet too. In the bedroom we have a sitting area with comfortable chair to enjoy the water view. We offer flat screen HDTV wall mounted for extra space and expanded cable. The living room has a top grain leather sofa, Balinese chairs opposite Balinese cube tables which are easy to move for the quick use of the wall bed. A remote controlled Hunter Bahamas Palm Frond ceiling fan is at your disposal in the living loom. Our fireplace is a legitimate heater. It is customized with our 44" HD flat screen TV mounted above it, a recessed and a slightly raised hearth. Very dramatic and very functional. This is by far the nicest remodeled unit we have seen in at North Coast Village and the reason why we made it our own. The floors that are sanitized with our Shark Steam cleaning system, 99% germ free. We sealed the stone floors this year and our couch can be easily be wiped off. Our Balinese chairs can also be steam cleaned where/when needed. There are no sharp edges on our cube coffee tables and they are light and easy to move when you need to. We bought this unit and closed escrow in April 2011, put it into service in May and are looking forward to enjoying it ourselves in our golden years. Until then, it is avail for our guests to enjoy.

Close to the SEA

We enjoyed our stay in NCV. The condo was quiet and clean and we were able ( due to variable weather conditions ) a few times to sit on the balcony land with the waves. All in all a great place to stay !

Wonderful days at the ocean

We were looking for close proximity to the beach and this fit the bill. We enjoyed our stay very much and the hosts were easy to work with and very responsive. We definitely plan on staying again in the future.

Could not be happier with our stay! The little condo was perfect for us and such an excellent location in proximity to the beach! We had everything we needed - the bed was comfy and there were plenty of extra blankets and towels. We were toasty warm with the fireplaces. Wayne checked in with us to see that we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in this apartment last year for 4 nights. My family and I had a great time and we returned this year again. I have two small children who loves the beach which is conveniently just a short walk from the condo. The complex has a very nice pool as well. We had a great time again.

The best hosts ever!

Stay here. The host' are responsive, they provide a condo with comfortable bed, good linens, kitchen supplies that meet a “baker’s” needs and supplies that do t run out on the third day. Every time I thought, “I wonder if they have …”, they did!! We would stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you to our hosts!

Perfect Home Away From Home

The unit is well furnished and came with everything we needed. We especially loved the hotel grounds and amenities. Everyday we would enjoy a run down to the pier, followed by a visit to the hotel gym and sauna. At sunset, we took a quick dip into the ocean that was just outside the hotel fence. Several times throughout our trip we walked down to the local ice cream shop. We loved everything about our stay. Thank you!

Perfect Location, Perfect Unit

We absolutely loved our stay! We had a cold, rainy ten days but the unit was cozy and warm with heaters and everything we needed. The location was perfect walking distance to awesome harbor bars and restaurants and close enough to pier shops and activities. Oceanside has come a long way and is clean and more upscale. We loved being so close to the beach too!We played indoor pickleball right by the pier and outdoor at Poinsettia Park. So much to do! The grounds at North Coast Village were immaculate just like our unit. We loved the heated pool and hot tub. The gym with sauna was top notch as well. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful trip! We’ll be back!

We enjoyed the location within the complex. Elevators were close and so was the excellent laundry room. We found the actual apartment very dark and would suggest it be lightened up with stronger lighting or light paint.we only met the owner the day before we left but he was very nice and I’m sure would be accomadating if you had issues. We did not.

We had such a great time. The property was beautiful. The pool was nice. We were very close to nice beaches, and fun places to eat. It was really easy to get around. The condo was nice and had everything that we needed for our trip. Wayne was great to keep us informed of our trip and even sent us information about bike rentals. The condo was clean and felt homey. It was nice to have a safe place to park the car. The Farmers Market on Thursday was fun with a lot of food choices. We loved Ty's Burgers that is within walking distance and the Succulent Coffee shop. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I would very much recommend this property to a friend/relative. The one downfall is the train that runs thru, and its loud horn, but other than that....It was great.

I checked in at the Security Office and everything went smoothly. My unit was close to two elevators so it was convenient to reach the pool or walk to the Strand or go out the front to meet my family. The unit was comfortable and well equipped. A ceiling fan and a stand fan helped to move the air so I did not miss having AC. I did not do much cooking or eating there, but the unit had everything needed if I had wanted to. I slept very well as the bed was extremely comfy. I would definitely recommend this place to others and will try to stay here again when I visit my nephew next year. One suggestion: it would have been nice to have ice made in the trays when I arrived.

Fantastic location, feet from beach, with ocean view from the balcony

Location, location, location! Close enough to the beach to actually hear the waves crashing! There is a legitimate ocean view from the balcony and a little bar to enjoy your morning coffee and afternoon drink. The complex is relatively quiet and beautifully maintained. My mom finds it hard to get around and strolling around the huge complex gardens counted as a nice walk for her. The pool is large and there were always enough lounges so you didn't have to fight with anyone! Dedicated parking space. It was clean and very well-equipped--plenty of linens; absolutely nothing missing from the kitchen; more than enough toilet paper, dish towels, trash bags to get you started; plenty of cleaning supplies; and thoughtful details like a canvas beach bag and ice chest. The wall bed in the living room was very comfortable-I slept on it the whole month we were there. Communication with owner was always very prompt, professional, and solicitous. Truly, the only complaint I could possibly have was that the unit smelled very musty. I ran the fans daily to pull the air out the windows and that seemed to help. I did notify the owner and he did say they would look into it. This is the only reason I gave only four stars for cleanliness. Final word: I'd stay here again and again!

Great location!! Beachfront with accessibility to everything by walking!

This is an amazing property! The entire North Coast Village was very clean, quiet and the location is perfect! This is located on the beach front, tucked in away from traffic but within walking distance to shopping, food, farmers market, and lots of entertainment. Not to mention the South Gate to Camp Pendelton is right there for families wanting to come in to visit their son/daughter/friends stationed there. The trains are very close, took a night to adjust to the load whistle but then it was just white noise after the fun exciting days we had! Which reminds me, the train station is a 5 minute walk to catch the Coaster/Sprint/Amtrak train for round trip adventures without having to drive! Take advantage if you can! We will be booking this trip again in the very near future and of course staying in the North Coast Village!

Here we are, the Seymour sisters-circa 1979 at my airline graduation. Cindy on the left and me, Linda, on the right. We are both flight attendants for major airlines. She formerly was Western Airlines - now Delta and I was Continental - now United. We together have nearly 80 years of combined service and have stayed overnight in every imaginable good and bad hotel. We think we have a great grip on what a customer wants from their accommodations. We are service oriented and we have been partners in beach rentals since 1987. While this is the personal unit of myself, (Linda) and my husband Wayne, we operate in cooperation with Cindy to offer a total of 2 beach units advertised on VRBO. We personally attend to each of our rentals - have maintenance and cleaning staff who are dedicated to our individual units and know them intimately. We refresh our units twice a year and maintain as tight a ship on cleanliness as is possible. We offer only long term (7+ nights) rentals. We each have two kids - mine have now graduated from universities and hers, finishing high school. We pride ourselves in being able to customize your experience to provide you with just the right amount of amenity to make you comfortable. Almost anything can be arranged for you, such as removing the extra equipment for our senior seasonal snowbirds to enjoy our unit without extra clutter.

Why they chose this property

North Coast Village is San Diego County's best kept secret, but not for long. Oceanside's two mile sandy beach and the 1600 foot municipal pier, the year round mild climate make it a preferred destination for a broad cross section of visitors.

What makes this property unique

We walk to everything, work out in the fitness center, enjoy the pools year round. We had the uniquely wonderful experience of hosting our oldest daughter's wedding on the grounds, in what was a spectacular October wedding.
