Clean, cute little house in quiet neighborhood easy to get to Olympic . Would stay again. Need extra seats in living room as just a couch and one chair.

Awesome little house that was comfortable and clean. Great location for exploring Olympic National Park and the surrounding area, even out to Neah Bay. Would definitely love to come back, and if so, would definitely stay again here.

This is a very nice place. Quiet area off the main road, deer in the back yard was fun to see. Ample parking, nice patio, bring firewood although, I did not inquire about foraging for firewood. Will definitely be back again.

This was so close to everything for visiting the Olympic Peninsula, but it was also tucked away and quiet. We had deer come visit us in the back yard! The stars were gorgeous at night and the house was warm and inviting. The beds were so comfortable after all our long hikes too! We would definitely stay again.

It's a great VRBO especially the property. We saw multiple blacktail deer in the yard and there is great privacy. The only issues we had were some dust on the dishes (might just have been awhile since someone else stayed there) and the bathroom door to the master bedroom is less than ideal (there is a large gap and it limits privacy in the bathroom). Overall, it was a good stay and I would stay again.

We always search for homes that will give us privacy from neighboring houses . This house was a perfect find . it’s hard to find this just with photos but it was a success !!!! Location is perfect we were able to do hikes towards port Angela’s and Sequim area as this house is located perfectly in between two towns . Thank you so much to our hosts
First visit to Port Angeles/Sequim in over 25 years. Weather was great, all household equipment functioned well. Some minor construction issues, Great location.
Will definitely consider booking on our next visit to the Olympic Peninsula.

Good place for people with dogs.
Close to all the things area has to offer.
Appreciated the incense offered. The house had an odd fishy smell. The incense really helped.

First time visit to Washington state for me but my husband was stationed in Bremerton when he was a young adult. We brought our daughter to see the wonders of the PNW and it did not disappoint. Snow, deer, mountains, La Push beach, Forks and this sweet house was just the place to stay. Next time we are not even going back to Seattle the whole stay will be in Nature.

Inside is newly renovated with an upgraded, and stocked kitchen and modern living room with a gas fireplace. The internet was spotty and our Netflix and music kept cutting out the second day. Several of the lights in the home did not work and the grass outside was heavily overgrown with trash left behind. However, we spent most of our time on the lake or in the mountains, but it was a perfect home base to have a home cooked meal and get warmed up. We would definitely stay there again. We loved visiting Swains for all of our needs and walking around the town. They even had a Safeway opened late to pick up last minute snacks and groceries.

The internet connection was very poor. It would not work with the TV. Shower was mostly unusable due to height of the shower head, it was incredibly low. The bathroom barn door offers no privacy and falls open unless latched on the outside, door is warped so there is a huge gap even when closed. There are virtually no beside lamps and overhead lighting is minimal. Some blankets smelled like dogs. The kitchen was fine and the bed was comfortable enough. This is just bare bones kind of rental so if you aren't looking for amenities it would be fine.

My wife and I have planned to visit Olympic National Park for years and wanted to find a cabin or cottage far enough from the main road that it would be quiet and relaxing, but close enough to the towns and national park that we could use it as a base for day trips. This listing was ideal: close to the end of a dead end side road, but only 15-20 minutes from Port Angeles and the Hurricane Ridge area.
The house itself was clean with all the amenities and plenty of natural light. We really enjoyed cooking and eating our dinners there. The lot was big enough that we were not too close to neighbors and we enjoyed being surrounded by a "green screen" of trees and bushes. The entire area was quiet and we liked being able to see the mountains from the road during the day and do some backyard stargazing at night in an area without too much artificial light.
Communication with the owners was excellent and a few questions we had at checkout were answered promptly. Thank you!
