Despite the charming interior, it is right next to busy street and railroad. So the noise is constant when doors and windows are opened because there is no air-conditioning. It was very hot inside during heat wave this Fall. I couldn't sleep.

Everything was perfect and the amenities were great. You can not ask for a better place to stay and the area that surrounded it. To the ease to getting to the beaches and pier and all the Oceanside have! I would recommend to everyone!

great location/great owner

The location is perfect. The complex reminds me of Hawaii with their fish, koi ponds and waterfalls. The owner was timely and efficient with his responses to me. I loved that he had several extra blankets in the unit. There was a great amount of beach toys for kids. The kitchen was also fully stocked everything you need to prepare meals!

Nice Stay

The grounds were beautiful, had a nice tropical feel to it. Beautiful waterfalls, ponds, Koi pond, pool and the flowers/plants surrounding. I love how close it was to the beach. Our room was nice, no air conditioning, but thank goodness for the fans. Unfortunately our room wasnt super clean, but the company did ask if we would like them to come and clean it. Overall it was a very nice stay.

This is a very large complex, and we found the directions on where to go upon arrival very dicfficult. There was no map and upon being dropped off by an Uber we wandered around before we found d a kind resident who let us in and brought us to the office. The condo complex is very beautiful, with lush vegetation and koi ponds. The pool is beautiful and there are several hot tubs. The unit itself is in need of a lot of updating—the kitchen is old and dated, the bathtub is in bad shape, the carpeting is threadbare and needs to be replaced. The sink in the bathroom is very slow to drain. There is no AC but we found the powerful fan was effective for keeping us cool at night. There are several restaurants within walking distance, as well as the beqch, Overall, we would stay in this location again but not this unit.

The property - Coastal Resort was amazingly beautiful! Walking onto a private beach was the draw for us! No driving, not crowded, spacious and convenient ! That was wonderful!!The unit we stayed in was okay, not cleaned to my expectation! The unit needs to updated and linens were not good! King size bed had a mattress pad that did not fit properly ! One set of king size sheets! I like to change bedding after a few days- beach! Even though we shower everyday, I like climbing into a clean bed at night! That is me! Televisions - great, no A/C ! Limited space in bathroom! Bath tube is out of date! I dealt with Surf Vacation Rentals as the host! Living room blinds had to be fixed by their handyman! Done, great communication!Would I rent this unit again, no! But absolutely stay on the property that was the most delightful part of our 7 days! Location- great! Love the property and nice people!!

Oceanside visit

Property was clean. Furnishings a little dated. I would have liked written instructions on how to operate room heaters. I was unsure how to use. The outside temperature was a bit chilly, it would have been nice to take the chill off in the morning.

Ants and noise, otherwise good!

This was a very comfortable condo in a lovely setting. The only problems were that I had a was an ant invasion and the little guys ruined some of my food. The street outside was a bit noisy. I learned ant invasions were common when it rains in the area. It would have helped if I was informed of the possibility and instructions and supplies were made available to manage it. I would stay in the complex again but not in that location.

Stay in the rain

The location is perfect and grounds are beautiful. Easy check in and out process. Unfortunately it rained and stormed our entire stay so we were indoors most of the time. There were three things I thought needed attention. Since it was rainy and cold we turned on 2 of the 3 wall heaters but couldn’t use one of them because the knob was missing. I chose to do dishes by hand because when you opened the dishwasher, it slid forward and wasn’t secured in place. The last thing was that we had a 3 night stay and there was only a partial roll of toilet paper when we arrived and additional rolls were nowhere to be found. We had to make a special trip to the store to buy toilet paper. Other than that, the place was comfortable and in a great location. Would stay here again when weather is nice and bring some toilet paper 😊

Location isn’t Everything

It would have been a great place to stay if it hadn’t been marred by the constant battle with the tiny ants in the kitchen and the unsecured dishwasher that fell forward every time the door was opened. Otherwise, great location and beautiful grounds.

California Wedding Weekend

This property was clean, well maintained and cozy. The gated community was a lush oasis with palm trees and ponds and little waterfalls. We felt very safe in the area and it was a quick walk through the community to get to the beach. If ever we venture that way again we would stay here.
