We've stayed at this property multiple times. Very clean, cozy, pet-friendly property. Walkable to downtown. Earthfare grocery just a block away for last minute purchases. It's our "go to" rental in Boone.

Awesome place and location

Can't complain. It has the basic amenties but, parking 'is tight', so they have an extra space next door. If you have a larger truck or suv, then next door might be better if others are parking. Also, i stayed here secetal weeks

Perfect House in the middle of Boone

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Close enough to walk to restaurants and close enough to drive to local attractions. Perfect house for 2!

Perfect Spot.

The location was excellent. My family and I walked all over downtown Boone. The place it’s self was great. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place.

Great Spot for App State Visit

Used the property for a visit to App State and the location and set-up couldn't have been any better. Very clean and easy walk to campus/downtown and since it is set up as a guest house behind the main property, it is rather quiet as well as it avoids the road noise. Only criticism is that if you have more than 2 people, the pull out couch is super uncomfortable, (as most are) but having some type of extra cushion like an egg crate to lay down over the bed to protect against the bars would be nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Boone visit

We thoroughly enjoyed our stayin Boone. The property was perfect for our needs. Very clean, great location, and well equipped. Even though we ate out we could have made our own meals. Communication with owner was easy and response, when needed, was quick. 5 stars!!

Perfect for a couple with a dog!

We love to travel with our dog and I always hesitate to book a place where we have to share a wall with someone in case she decides to bark while we're out. Finding a place that is small enough for just two people that is also a detached house is almost impossible. And to find one downtown and within walking distance of everything was like finding a unicorn. It was a perfect long weekend for us in Boone. Super clean and very comfortable! We'll definitely book again if we revisit Boone!

Really a 4.9 not a 4

The location was perfect! We could walk to everything we needed and wanted to do. Denise was amazing to work with! She was prompt with replies and provided great information. Parking was tight, but very manageable and there is another parking spot very close by if needed. We will happily stay here again, but we will bring a fan for the bedroom. I wish I could give 4.9 stars because the only issue I had was personal preference of airflow in the bedroom. Truly a neat spot!

Cabin in Boone

The one bedroom cabin was so cute! Very rustic with slate floors and countertops. 1 king bed with plenty of pillows. Bathroom clean! Went for an APP game. You can walk to the stadium! Great location on king st right by restaurants and bars! Parking was a bit difficult with our truck but they have another spot at the building next door that we utilized! Will return!

College tour

Our daughter is interested in attending App state for her Masters. The house was a perfect location and a short walk to the College and extremely cute downtown with plenty of restaurants and shops. Our only complaint was the pull out couch was not tolerable to sleep on due the springs pushing in her back. We put the pull out bed back and she slept on the couch instead. FYI there is no dishwasher but that was not a big deal to us.

Property is in a great location. We were within walking distance to downtown Boone. The weather was perfect so we spent a lot of time exploring. Home was clean and because it is setback from King Street which is always busy during the day, home was quiet. We had such a good time.

We purchased this property because it is located in central downtown Boone, right on King Street. We believe that the Appalachian house is the perfect place to call home while you're visiting the high country!

This quaint cottage rests just yards from the Appalachian State University. Walk to the bookstore, tour campus, or check out a football game at Kidd Brewer Stadium.

Several amazing restaurants and bars are within minutes of this property, including Wild Craft Eatery, Our Daily Bread, Proper and Lost Province Brewing Co. After treating yourself to a craft beer and tasty lunch, visit nearby shops or see a show at one of the local theaters.

Drive about 5 miles to Appalachian Ski Mountain or discover other outdoor adventures at High Gravity Adventures Zip Line & Aerial Park, Tweetsie Railroad, Foggy Mountain Gem Mine, or the Greenway Trail System.
