The close proximity of both banner elk and Boone was perfect, but also the home felt like it was miles away in the mountains. Ideal location for people who want to go to the mountains and get out and explore the area l.

Great access to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Hound Ears Club. Nearby deer feeder provided lots of fun watching the deer have breakfast & dinner. We would rent this property again as pet lovers!

Lovely Cabin

We had a great time as 4 adults with 3 toddlers. The toddlers loved playing on the screened in porch and there was room for all of us. The place was very clean and we had no issues!

Appalachian State University 2025 graduation

Close to campus. 3 stories ground floor. Bottom floor is set up as a game room . Place was lovely.

Family Hiking Trip

The cabin was in the perfect setting in the woods but close to town and great hiking spots. The enclosed porch was great to sit on and drink your coffee and listen to the stream or have family dinner. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil needed. Sitting out by the fire pit with the family having s’mores was a bonus.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We loved everything about this cabin. It was well stocked. We had everything we needed and then some. They have thought of all the little details from the flashlights by the bed to the extra blankets and candles. It was the perfect distance from town. One of my favorite things to do is to watch for deer and we saw them every morning. Thank you so much!

Cozy mountain cabin

Very clean property, nicely maintained. Check in process was made very easy, communication with the rental company via text was convenient. This property has a wonderful back porch where we ate all our meals and spent a lot of quality time. Noise does travel within the cabin, but that's to be expected for the type of home. LOVED the fire pit area, used it almost every night. There is parking in front of the home but you can also continue down the drive and circle around to the back for more parking. Convenient location to both Boone and Blowing Rock, as well as many area attractions.

Bucks cabin was beautiful inside with all the wood walls and ceiling. The rear deck was great for sitting as a family, eating outside and listening to the stream down below. Also the deer were an enjoyment to watch as they came to the feeder. When you first get there if you want to use the parking spaces up top you need to go past the cabin and take the drive to the right and follow to the back lower level and then turn around and come back up the parking spaces. Overall Bucks cabin is excellent.
