This Mountain Retreat on Watagua Lake was perfect! The house was comfortable and offered plenty of different spaces for our group of 10. Having a place to dock the boat was also really great - although this is quite a boat ride from the one marina we rented from. Overall would stay at this property again and would recommend to any and all who are looking for a mountain lake getaway!
Beautiful rustic cabin but with all the amenities such as large kitchen and eating area, spacious living room, and comfortable bedrooms. The view of the lake is stunning from the porch! Nearby fishing, swimming, and lots of relaxation! Starry skies and hundreds of fireflies surrounded us as we cooked S’mores around the fire pit in the evening. Highly recommend!
Great property with Great Lake and Mountain Views, lots of space in the house and very well appointed with everything you need. Host is very responsive and accommodating. Only thing is you are 25-30 minutes away from nearest groceries, restaurant and gas so be prepared with gas and groceries beforehand. Otherwise a beautiful home with beautiful views and very relaxing.
Perfection from start to finish. We were a group of seven and cooked daily. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds were comfortable. House is spacious and clean. Plenty to do inside and outside. We were blessed with great weather, the scenery and lake were beautiful. Boat rental was easy, the dock was easily accessible. We hope to return back to this property again. Pack your bags and go…. You don’t need to bring anything else.
This cabin is lovely. We had a wonderful stay! Kitchen is nice, big and well stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable. But the deck was where we stayed most! A beautiful view of the lake and mountains. We absolutely loved our time there.
This place had everything we needed for a group of seven. The house is lovely, the lake is right there, and we had a blast on the porch, in the hot tub and on the ping pong table. We would absolutely come back. This is on a peaceful area of Watauga lake, and the fish were plentiful.
Beautiful home with all the amenities you'd expect. We enjoyed the the lake on a pontoon for a few days, went 4 wheeling on side by sides, and of course spent a day sightseeing and shopping. Our trip couldn't have been better
Beautiful home , very tranquil location. It is very remote so get what you need before arriving. No loud neighbors and not a lot of water traffic

Not perfect for privacy among guests…..master bedroom conversation heard word by word with those above. Tough to find restaurants, and had 5 chairs at fire pit we were6.Overall it was a good stay but a little remote for the city group in our group.
Our family of 5 absolutely loved this house in the mountains and the gorgeous view of the lake! The fire pit was a huge hit! It has everything you could want!! Just know it’s about 30 minutes for the main road for groceries….. with a very narrow road up to the house for us Florida residents ;)…..
We rented this cabin to stay in while we came to TN to attend the Bristol night race. It is a very beaitiful and clean cabin. The neighborhood is quiet and serene.
The view of the lake from the cabin is amazing! The journey to get to the cabin is quiet curvy as we arent use to TN. We would love to visit again for a longer stay!
Overall we would love to vosit again!
This was an amazing and relaxing get away for us. The place is spacious and the view is great. There were three couples and this place could have easily housed two more without it being overcrowded or cramped. The big screen TVs, hot tub, large deck overlooking the lake, ping pong table, and grill and well equipped kitchen gave us things to do while we relaxed, unwound and took in the view. The house was extremely clean and the hosts were conscientious and responsive. Will definitely stay again and possibly try it in the warmer weather when we can rent a boat and do some fishing in the lake.
We loved staying at this cabin! The porch views are even better in person! We enjoyed the convenience of keeping our boat at the dock, paddleboarding, and using the hot tub. The kids loved the ping pong table and we enjoyed the fire pit as well. It's a short walk to the dock and I (a middle-aged female) was able to carry the paddleboards down myself. The kitchen was excellent and had the best appliances for the large family meals we made. We loved the size of the refrigerator and they provided several of the best options for making coffee! The cabin had an extremely comfortable reclining couch and the beds were so comfortable. The master bedroom had blackout curtains. The cabin was very spacious and there was plenty of room for parking a few cars plus a boat trailer. We definitely recommend!
