Newly built, this spectacular new property sits ocean front with breathtaking, panoramic views from almost every room. Enjoy four floors of living space unrivaled at Higgins Beach as well as 4000 square feet of oceanfront green space.

From October through May, only one master is available. Property also boasts a gourmet kitchen, gas fireplace and three gathering areas. This stunning home will be perfect for large or multi-families looking to vacation together. Guests must provide own linens (sheets/blankets and towels).

Full weeks (Saturday to Saturday) during peak summer season, shorter stays of three night minimums offered during the off season.

Please inquire for earlier and later dates as well as rates. Also note, Maine lodging tax, a $49 damage protection policy, and a cleaning fee of $400 are required. Guests need to bring sheets/towels/blankets

Great for family gatherings!

Some what challengingly packing blankets towels sheets for airplane travel. That being said, it was clearly stated in information. It was a perfect location for large family gathering for a family wedding close by. The home, sunrises, beach we’re all spectacular.

Wonderful Weekend

This is a beautiful house in a great location. We enjoyed a weekend away with extended family for my mothers’s 70th birthday. The house is well equipped and communication was excellent.

Beautiful and Unforgettable

We had our bridal party stay for a long weekend and it was absolutely amazing. The only struggle was having guests who flew because of the need to bring sheets and towels but that was an easy fix with people bringing extra who drove or renting through a company! Absolutely recommend.

The Callahan family first came to Higgins Beach in 1947, when Philip Callahan, grandfather of current owner, Michael Gentile, brought his wife Joyce to the beach for the first time after WWII. The Callahan/ Gentile family has never missed a summer at Higgins in 66 years! Over the years, the family has grown exponentially and all of its members have developed Philip's love and attachment to Higgins. Today, over 30 family members and friends, including several 4th generation Higgins Beachers make an annual trip or two to Higgins. As the family grew in size, it was increasingly difficult to find enough homes to rent to allow the family to be together at the beach they all love so much.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location! The idea of Family Tides was born out of love for Higgins Beach and out of necessity; a big house where multiple families and generations can gather to enjoy this great place! We know many families share similar histories and love for Higgins. We hope this house will allow other families and friends to all stay under one roof and create memories of their own for decades to come.
