A beautiful unique home. Perfect location. Fully equipped . We had a greatTime with my children and grand kids. The home was very clean.the beds were comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood.exceptional place to stay. Thank you Christine
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the property in Cape Canaveral. The house was clean and the hosts were very easy to work with. Had all the amenities we needed and then some. Very close to everything we wanted to go to.
This house is as interesting as it was described. Rock wall showers, cathedral ceilings and large windows all come together to provide one of the more unusual places we’ve stayed. With the historic aspects it makes it a worthwhile stop in your travel plans.
The house is a spacious work of art designed with charm and character. The house was well supplied with most needed items. The new owner was responsive to our communications. We enjoyed our month long stay with family in the quiet neighborhood and on the nearby beach.
This property did not disappoint! Beautiful inside and out, classy yet homey at the same time, a rare combination to find! Plenty of room for our two families. So close to the beach and any and all amenities. We got to feel and see a rocket launch from the backyard on our first day! Hard trip to top! Thanks = )
Great property. Rustic feel in the Cocoa beach area. Quiet neighborhood and easy access. Only drawback was the AC unit for most of house was struggling to keep up in the afternoon so the dining room and family room were really warm. Both of the main bedrooms had auxiliary units which worked great. It was also a seasonally cool week which meant after sundown the AC would catch back up. Overall this is a great property and I would recommend if you want something different than the normal beach house.
My family had such a great experience at Moon Dunes! Super clean. Lots of space. Loved hanging out on the back patio. Loved there was a laundry machine and dryer… a must when traveling with kids. My kids loved all the space decor, books, and especially the glow stars on the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. We loved playing games in the loft. It was so awesome that the hosts provided beach chairs, beach towels, and sand toys to take to the beach with us. We were able to just walk out the front door to watch two different rocket launches from Cape Canaveral. My family would come here again in a heart beat!
Was super excited about this find. If you like unique architecture with history, this is a solid choice. We enjoyed our stay and learning about the history of the home and its connections to space travel. :) The house is spacious and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen come well equipped. It’s a good sized house, with plenty of room for a lot of folks but was just right for our family of 3 with lots of room for our son to frolic. The 3 private and spacious bathrooms were really nice and convenient. The separate AC units in the two main bedrooms were especially nice. The little lizards running around outside were charming. Location wise, it’s close to everything you need, just off the beaten path enough to be really quiet and peaceful but also just a short drive to the beaches, dining, shopping, and areas to watch rocket launches! The communication with the host was also great, timely and helpful. Overall, was a good and memorable stay for me and my family.
We were looking for a good location to have a beach vacation with family members coming together from Georgia and Orlando area. Cape Canaveral was a great choice. We even saw a SpaceX Falcon rocket launch at night. The history associated with this house was such a fun bonus for all of us!
Had so much fun and the owners were so nice. Thank you for making our trip to cape Canaveral more comfortable and memorable!!!! Will definitely be back
this house is in a great location right off the main road. on a quiet street. Very clean all the rooms were laid out very nice with their own bathrooms. no problems at all will go back again. the loft was a great help for extra guest.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time! The property is beautiful and unique, with vaulted ceilings, stained glass, lots of natural wood and tile. We were in close proximity to the beach and delicious restaurants. We spent a day at Kennedy Space Center. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group. We would stay here again!
This house was great to stay at with our family. Incredibly unique , it has such personality. 4 children and 2 adults in our group and it easily accommodated us. Very clean , and the location couldn’t be any better. Usually we enjoy the other coast , however this location has introduced us to the SPACE coast . Thank you very much , we will be back ( if it’s available then )
Wonderful interesting house, video games for kids, TV in every room, nice quiet location. Central to a lot of Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach.

Why they chose this property
Quiet and charming neighborhood to relax in that is very close to the rocket launches and surf. A short drive to MCO makes this an easy getaway for us to enjoy and share with others.
What makes this property unique
This house was a prototype built in 1984 by a prolific NASA engineer, Don Arabian. It is truly one of a kind and was ahead of its time with design elements to improve energy efficiency with natural light and incorporating mixed materials to keep the house temperate.
