The apartment is very comfortable and in a nice neighborhood to walk around. An extra bonus is the free access to the Botanical Gardens a few blocks away.
Very nice property. Works great if you want a location that is friendly and walkable. Host is responsive and the property presents as advertised. We would stay here again.
Nice option for our quick getaway to Denver. Walkable neighborhood. Loved using the pass to the Botanic Gardens. It was beautiful. Week d was quite warm for June but basement lodging stayed cool!

Was a very comfortable stay for 3 nights.
We were out all day so it was just what we needed to come home and relax.
Great property. Close to downtown and Cherry Creek shopping. One block walk to a the Cheesman Park and the Botanical Gardens. Lots of room in a very nice and modern basement apartment. Will definitely stay here again when we are in Denver.
Fantastic location for walking to local spots for groceries, dining out, and local parks. City Park and Cheesman Park are beautiful and walkable from the house. Check in and check out were quick and easy. And Gabe was super responsive when we had a question or needed something. Would absolutely stay there again and recommend to others.
This was an excellent place to stay. It's in a residential area with lots of trees and coose to parks and the bptanical Gardens. I will probably return with my husband. Thank youn Gabe for your hospitality!
Absolutely perfect location. Seconds away from all the downtown activities that you could ask for. Bars, food, venues, and mountains are all within a reasonable distance and easy access. Location is quiet even being close to a busier thoroughfare.
Will definitely be booking here again for our next visit to Denver!
Our sons live in the neighborhood and this location worked perfectly for us. Walking distance to whatever we needed. Place was perfect, included everything we needed for our time in Denver. Hosts were onsite and available when needed. Would definitely stay here again.
This property is perfectly situated near Cheeseman Park and lots of nice restaurants. I walked everyday to Cheeseman to watch the frolicking dogs and to get a coffee at the Secret Garden. The apartment is the basement of a house with a side entrance. The gate locks so I felt very safe. Had everything I needed.
While this property is close and convenient to my family, I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting downtown Denver. Access to the botanical gardens is only one great perk- Cheeseman PArk is the best, and there are loads of food choices. The owners are responsive and friendly. We will return!

Everything that we needed or didn't even know we needed was provided. The only hard thing was parking.
Thank you so much for a great stay in Denver. This unit was so perfect for me, just a few blocks from my daughter's apartment and perfectly appointed with everything I needed to be comfortable. Every detail of this space is very well thought out and I felt right at home. I had a couple of questions during my stay and received immediate and helpful reply. I couldn't ask for more and hope to be back! Many thanks!!
The unit had everything we needed and was clean, functional, quiet, and had pleasant lighting.
The unit was barely cool enough (end of July). The provided fans help but can be audibly annoying.
First, please note that the place got 5 stars from us about all the questions. It was very clean and tidy, the kitchen was complete and well supplied, the bathroom was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the furniture was in good condition and also comfortable. The place was quiet. There was enough space so one person could watch TV while the other slept. The reason for a bit of consideration was it is indeed a basement unit, with low ceilings and very small windows. In addition, the stairway down from the door is narrow and steep and difficult to navigate with luggage.
We stayed at Gabe & Leah's place near Cheesman Park for one week to spend Thanksgiving 2024 with our son who lives in Denver. Their basement apartment was perfect for us - accessible by side door through gated /locked access only. Living space was very clean, quiet, fully equipped and easily accessible to everything Denver has to offer. Great coffee shops & restaurants within walking distance. It was unseasonably warm last week, but the apartment was very comfortable. Unexpected amenities included blow dryer, washer & dryer, iron, living room area with office area, coffee, lotion, shampoo & conditioner...but we especially appreciated the Denver Botanical Gardens "secret" back gate key fob. We spent so much time enjoying the garden that one day a DBG staff member had to tell us the Garden had closed!!!
Would definitely stay again.
The apartment is clean and nice. I struggled with this review. There is no way to regulate heat and it was freezing. We slept in clothes and winter coat. Although it was May 8, we had coats with us because Michigan was still cold when we left. The next day we had to get a space heater. It appears as if you are at the mercy of the apartment above. The water pressure is very poor. Although I had good communication prior to arrival, when we were trying to figure out heat, we didn’t hear back. Message was missed. After we left and I resent message there was no explanation of heat situation. So I still don’t know if there was a way to adjust it. This would be a great place to stay if you catch temp at right time.
