This home is so charming and comfortable! It really feels like someone's home and not a rental. It was incredibly well-stocked with linens, kitchen items, etc. The beds were wonderful! We enjoyed it immensely and plan to stay again in the future!
This house was the most thoughtfully stocked rental i have ever used. Anything you could need in a kitchen is there and in perfect shape. The beds are so comfortable! The backyard is so nice to spend the evening relaxing. I highly recommend this house!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was very clean and was better than the pictures. The location was great and was close to all the attractions at the Will Rogers Center! We will definitely book this house again.
This house was the perfect blend of charming and historic on the outside and completely modern the inside. It was easy to walk to some delicious restaurants on Magnolia Avenue, and the property manager, Kathleen, was quick to help when we accidentally locked ourselves out. We enjoyed our time and would love to stay here again!
We had the best time at the Lilac house. The attention to detail was over the top. Kathleen was a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with and very thoughtful in the decor and amenities in this precious home. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this little gem.
Lovely home! Great spot for our weekend stay. The back room was nice and dark for the baby, the front room could use some black out curtains. Especially since there are porch lights that the owner has requested remain on throughout the night. Beds were soft, something to keep in mind if if you prefer/need a firm mattress. The pillows could use an upgrade.
Very clean home. Great kitchen amenities! Was missing bathroom amenities but host was very responsive and accommodating. Listing should reflect that the queen bed in living room is actually an air mattress and not an actual bed. House is located in a cute historical neighborhood and we enjoyed our morning walks.
We enjoyed a long weekend at Lilac House. Our daughter and her family came over for a nice breakfast before we went off to explore the zoo, arboretum and parks. Our favorite meal out was bbq at Heim on Magnolia. Lilac House is in a great neighborhood for walking. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The front porch and patio out back were great spots to sit and enjoy the sunshine. We hope to stay again on our next trip to Ft Worth!
My granddaughter & I were in Fort Worth for livestock show (4-H). The Lilac Cottage was only a short distance to the fair grounds . We thoroughly enjoyed this home for our 4 night stay. The area was wonderful with all kinds of things to do. We both woke up rested & ready to start our busy days. I would recommend The Lilac house (100%) to anyone going to hang out in Fort Worth.Becky HHouston, TX
We loved our stay at this cute house. Our favorite part was the outdoor sitting areas and the hammocks! The house is so beautifully decorated, clean and really homey feeling. The only downside was the sleeping arrangements, the sofa bed listed in the description details is actually a blow up bed. We assumed it was a sofa fold out bed. Other than that it was a great stay and great host.
Everything about this property is great! My only suggestion for the property owner is to light up the house number. We arrived later at night and couldn’t see it because it was dark and was not 100% sure we had the right house. During the daytime you can see it but it’s in a location that isn’t obvious and can get obstructed by the tree in front.

Why they chose this property
The Fairmount Historic neighborhood charm captured my imagination. I love the friendly atmosphere and people walking their dogs each evening. The 1925 house needed some love and so I gave it. I hope you enjoy it's old school charm and modern touches!
