This is our first stay at Maison Delluc but the second time we’ve been hosted by Vincent. So much care and attention has gone into the home. We loved the spacious bathrooms, the kitchen and appliances (including a blender for our smoothies). The bedrooms were perfect and so very comfortable.The check-in process was flawless. We love Beynac as it makes a perfect base for just hanging out or making short trips. Being our second time, we got to visit some places we’ve not been before.And, as a bonus, Vincent has made restaurant recommendations in the area. He didn’t steer us wrong. We lived all of them.We will be back.

Wonderful house

We had a lovely stay at Maison Delluc, a lovely and comfortable centuries-old house in the middle of Beynac. The house is well-appointed, nicely furnished, and enjoys sweeping views over the river and surrounding countryside. We highly recommend it.

Most well equipped house I’ve ever visited on Verbo

From the moment the house manager met us to the turning in of the keys it couldn’t have been better. You can tell the personal pride the owners have of the property. Way above most properties.

Spectacular! Absolutely stunning in every way. Meticulously maintained and appointed Every detail was thought through. The renovation and decor beautifully designed. The Host and the housekeeper attended every need. Beynac is a fairytale village with gracious hospitality in every way. Central location to many sites and villages. Truly a exceptional experience!!! Wonderful place to stay in a medieval village.

What a perfect spot to live comfortably (modern kitchen and bathrooms) in a medieval house (stone walls, beam ceilings, plank floors) in one of the prettiest villages in France. We loved staying there! Easy to walk to the boulangerie, butcher, and several very good restaurants, or just sit on one of the 3 balconies with a glass of wine to watch the river and hot air balloons float by. Plus the Beynac Chateau of course! Vincent was always responsive and came up with good suggestions for all of our questions, such as where to go for dinners and even where to get good coffee beans. We’re already thinking about when we can come back.

Fantastic Place

Maison Delucc certainly had the wow factor, the moment you walk through the door from the cobbled street you can’t but be impressed. The rooms were beautifully decorated and fitted out with comfortable furniture in all the rooms. The view from any on the 3 floors are incredible looking over the river Dordogne with ballon’s gliding paste every day weather permitting. We would certainly recommend Maison Delluc the steep climb up the hill is certainly worth it once you see the view from the balconies. Beynac is a stunning location and is perfect to visit reach out to the other sites along the Dordogne.

My family (adults - two in 60's, two in 30's, and a 1 yr old baby) found that the views and the property were well-worth the very steep 4-5 min walk up to the house. The living spaces are on three levels connected by a sprial stair, safely gated at the top. Lots of personal space for diverse groups, but also two nice big tables for dining together, either inside or on the balcony deck. There is a nice selection of cookware, dishes, and utensiles if you choose to prepare meals and eat-in, but we also enjoyed the local restaraunts. Coffee machine options include a traditional drip pot (very slow), a nice single cup multi-size pod machine, and other manual options. Baby equipment (portable crib and high-chair) were very nice and greatly appreciated. The owner's instructions, guidance and history documents were thorough and very interesting. The parking lot P2 is at the top of the village. We and other visitors had trouble using a credit card with the payment machine, but paying in euro coins worked very well (5 per day is needed). We used public trash/recycles collection sites close to the village along the main road (D703) in either direction (east or west), but the closest site is north of the village, at a parking lot about 300 meters beyond parking lot P2. Finally, Martin is the wonderful helper, cheerfully greeting us and coming very early in the morning for our departure. Communicating by WhatsApp with her worked well.
