The Surf Hideaway is located in the heart of Kona Hawaii. This is not a fancy condo what you will get is a clean room and bath and the experience of living like a local in Hawaii we live on this site. We offer everything from mask, snorkels and fins there are also beach chairs, boogie boards for your day at the beach. Most guest use the Surf Hideaway as there first and last night on the island because of our location and price. We also love helping our guests with our local knowledge

We loved it. Yes, in accordance with the low price it was small, no AC. However it was perfect for us. Right in town, things to do, clean, safe and best of all the host couple treated us like family and made sure we had a great time. We would go back any time!

The place was easy to find and in a central location. Once we got in, we noticed it was a really strong odor of cat pee and/or maple syrup -like nauseating. I thought for cleanliness, it would have been nice if the fan had been cleaned, it was covered in chunks of dust. For the one night in Kona, it was fine. I don’t think I am being overly critical, this was the last rental we stayed at in Hawaii (5 different places) so I am familiar with what to expect but this was my first Vrbo.

Me and my daughter had a great stay at Kona. The room has everything described. It is clean and cosy. The arrival was super easy. There was plenty of space for parking. For the price, I highly recommend the place.
