Keyz Style 3BR/3B Heated Pool, 50' ft dock w/ deep access to Atlantic and Gulf



Bring your boat to this 3 bedroom / 3 bath recently updated home with 50 ft of deep water dockage and a custom HEATED swimming pool (small pool is not heated). House will comfortably sleep 8 with 1 king bed, 2 queens and two sleeper sofas. Each bedroom has it's own private attached bathroom. You will love waking up or relaxing on the water as the only thing that separates the house from the water is the dock. Master suite has been completely updated with new tile, finishes and standing tub. Boot Key harbor is only 3 houses down the canal. The home is very peaceful and has very private tropical spa like pool in the front with a beautiful flagstone wall. You will instantly feel on vacation as you sit by the pool, kayak or paddle board in the harbor, fish in the canal, go for a bike ride, or take the short 3.5 mile drive to Sombrero beach. We are also minutes from 7 mile bridge if you want to visit Bahia Honda park or take the short 45-50 minute drive to Key West. Sorry no RV parking but plenty of space for a trailer, truck and a mini-van. There are no bridges and no limits to open water based on low tide. Added bonus we have never had a build up of sea grass anywhere near the house since 2011!

Please call or e-mail me if you have additional questions. (I usually respond within the hour). Please notice the water outside of the sliding glass doors in both the family room and the bedroom. You are literally right on the water! We catch jacks, mangrove snappers, chubs, barracudas and grunts off the dock for a quick lunch and the pelicans and herons always join you when you are cleaning fish on the fish cleaning station. There is a fishing kayak, a ocean kayak, a 2 man ocean kayak, 2 paddle boards and 4 bicycles included with the rental. The heated spa like pool located in the front of the house is awesome with a bench running the length of it and a separate smaller pool that is great if you want to get away from the splashing kids. All new furniture, AC unit downstairs.

Saturday to Saturday rentals only from January - August. Please email me if you are looking for alternative dates in September through December.

Kids had an absolute blast using paddle boards and kayaks! Easy accessibility to ocean for our boat. Stories and restaurants close. The house was perfect for our large group. Owner was top notch with communication. We will definitely book next year

I love to hear that! It is the perfect place for paddleboards and kayaks as you have the mangrove rivers and the harbor to explore. And if you are adventurous, you can get to Sombrero beach or do the whole look around Boot Key, but take water! One of my favorite things to do is to pull into Burdine's on the boat on the way home and pick up two baskets of fries for everyone to enjoy as we cruise back to the house. Best fries and Arnold Palmers in the Keys!

We loved this house on a canal near seven mile bridge. It was easy to navigate out to the Atlantic Ocean. There were plenty of places to refuel and buy last minute snacks.

We had a great experience. Make sure to bring your toiletries and some small cleaning supplies. When we arrived we did not have any dish soap, garbage bags, or detergent.

The heated pool, while small, was absolutely wonderful! Lots of sun throughout the day, yet the patio table had shade where we enjoyed our lunches. Very nice accommodations and very convenient with a private bathroom for each of 3 bedrooms. Saw 2 manatees off the dock.

We had a great time. It would have been nice if you could use any of the bathrooms without going through a bedroom. If possible a sliding door similar to the door that looks out on the canal. for the bedroom behind the kitchen would be a nice addition to the doorway leading from the kitchen to the sitting room

Nice, big house with a great layout. Perfect for families or couple traveling together. Could use a deep cleaning and some maintenance. Everything looks worn out. We didn't spend any time upstairs so this review is just for the downstairs. We wanted to use the bedroom with the king bed, but it was uncomfortable, no TV in that room and the smallest bathroom attached. There are no nightstands and lamps, so if you read in bed, you're out of luck. When stripping the beds, we found we had a bed fellow for the week, a huge dead roach. I know its Florida, but in the bed is just gross. The owner could definitely hire a better cleaner and maintenance company. Please get new cookware as they're all scratched and everything sticks. Checkout at 9am is nuts.

Thanks for the review Tina, We have the house treated monthly by a pest company and when we get a report of a bug, we have them come in for an extra deep treatment. We added a TV to the middle bedroom since your stay as well as we are adding fans to the back living space and bedrooms. New cookware and knives have been added and we loved the pans so much we bought some for my home. A new mattress has been ordered. New patio furniture was added in July and two new chairs in back. Maintenance is always on going an we appreciate everyone's feedback to proved an excellent experience.

The house was beautiful, clean and in great condition. It was very well stocked, he thought of everything - kitchen appliances and accessories, kayaks, bikes, toys, games, there was always something to do. This house was amazing! Our host David was very welcoming and informative and checked in to make sure everything was great! We had a small issue and I contacted David and it was taken care of immediately with sincere apologies. The house had everything you could ask for … including manatees that we enjoyed off the 50 ft dock in the back of the house. We had the bedroom facing the water and was a joy waking up every morning! Beautiful bedrooms and the bathrooms! We hope to return next year!

Family Getaway

We enjoyed the stay. The property was in a great location. The final cleaning wasn’t done until after we checked in and the A/C had a hard time keeping up in the heat of the day. We were out on the boat most days so this wasn’t a big deal but the house had everything we needed. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Yes that is me with Jimmy Buffett in Chicago! We live a very busy life with 3 kids and a lot of working. There is no better place to enjoy our down time than in the Keys. We searched for the right house for nearly 2 years and we always came back to this house.

Why they chose this property

The pool and the dock are fantastic. You can walk to Cuba coffee, Overseas, FL Keys Steak and Lobster House, Keys Fisheries and many of our other favorite places. Your boat can be parked a few feet from you at the house and it can be up to 45 feet long. It is one of the few places where you can kayak to bars and restaurants as well. Plus if you want to paddleboard or kayak, you have more than just the canal. You have all of Boot Key harbor, Sister Creek, the mangrove creeks in Boot Key and 1.5 miles to Sombrero Beach and I believe 7 miles around Boot Key in the shallows. It is truly unmatched for kayaking.

What makes this property unique

We love the water. From sitting on the dock, snorkeling on the reefs, fishing, kayaking or just sitting at the pool, we have everything we need here. Unmatched for Kayaking, when the Atlantic is rough, you can easily get to the Gulf. You are 5 miles from Sombrero reef so you have some of the best snorkeling in the Keys and when you are not out and about, you have sun and shade on the property at all times so you can enjoy being outdoors all the time. With some luck and chum, you can even catch your limit on snappers off the dock. The entire property was given a face lift post Irma and looks amazing. The upstairs was painted and has new tile in 2023. Nothing is dated in this home. Large pool is always heated (small pool is not). The furniture, bikes, kayaks and SUPs (tried inflatables this time) are replaced regularly to keep everything fresh.
