Perfect location to all the things in Portland Old Port area. Our group of four loved being able to walk everywhere and then come back to Edith’s beautifully decorated place! The beds were comfortable and it was perfect spot. We can’t wait to visit again!

This apartment is splendid! Located in the heart of old Portland, it was easy to walk to the many restaurants and shops! Beware that parking is expensive in the designated parking lots! But we were able to park on the street without too much trouble. The apartment was very clean and well maintained! Edie responded quickly to all of our inquiries.

You are right in the hub of Old Port Maine; everything is around you! So its location is superb! You get a good workout in climbing the stairs(2 flights that are kind of steep). And the parking is expensive. But you can find a cheap place to park if you don’t need your car and plan to stay a bit by parking at least a mile away. This place is about staying and walking all around Old Port and soaking it in. If you want to eat in, you can! The kitchen has it all! But you can step just outside your door and find food too. When ready, come back and relax, have a glass of wine on the rooftop, take a nap in one of the two bedrooms. You get to set your pace. Checking in and out were a breeze and Edith was very responsive.

Family wedding weekend

We loved the location, decor and amenities of the condo. The owner was responsive, helpful and created a special place to stay while in Portland, Maine. By far the most thoughtfully curated VRBO. My family felt at home and enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend and would stay again.

A quick trip to Portland

Portland is one of our favorite cities to visit. This trip we brought along friends that had never been to Maine. This property was perfect for the four of us. It’s in the heart of the Old Port which allowed us to explore all the wonderful restaurants & still be close to the coast. Edith was a wonderful host. She suggested several local spots for us to eat & always made sure we didn’t need anything. We would highly recommend her place & will certainly stay there again.

Lovely Stay in an Incredible Space

The renovation, overall space and amazing location= absolute perfection!! I've enjoyed visiting Portland for many years. This was hands down the best place I've ever stayed when in town. The reimagining of the space is one on the nicest I've seen-- high end modern finishes coupled with thoughtful artwork and decor. Edith was a wonderful host. She was responsive, delivered the unit clean upon arrival and was an overall nice person. Her vision really came to life in the property. A GREAT place to stay when you visit Portland and the type of place you'll want to return to!

Absolutely amazing! 10/10

My friends and I can honestly not speak more highly of our stay in Portland! The location is right in the middle of the heart of Portland making shopping, dining, and night life at your fingertips and very walkable— no need for a rental car unless you are exploring beyond city limits. We have all stayed at a lot of hotels and other rentals and when we say this was the cleanest place we have ever stayed, we mean it. We felt so at home and every detail is extremely thought out. Cherry on top, Edith was beyond great! So quick to respond and so gracious! I cannot recommend staying here and renting with Edith enough.Dinner recommendation: Scales! The food was silly. So good!

50 Exchange is very well appointed, comfortable and even better than advertised. The rooftop patio was a favorite family meeting place. The flat is centrally located within the old port area for shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Walking is highly recommended throughout the old port area. However, vehicle parking was easily available in a nearby parking ramp. Overall, excellent accommodations!
