First, the individual who booked the property and submitted this review was not actually a guest staying in the condo. The reservation was made for a work crew, so the comments regarding the comfort and condition of the accommodations are secondhand. Mattress comfort is certainly subjective, and what one guest finds too firm, another may find perfectly comfortable. Our outdoor furniture is exposed to the coastal elements, including salt air, wind, and sand, which naturally require ongoing cleaning and maintenance. Regarding the parking pass, our rental agreement clearly states that a $25 replacement fee applies to passes that are not returned. The $10 fee printed on the pass is the resort’s replacement charge, not the management company’s fee, which also accounts for the time required to retrieve and replace the pass. This is not false advertising, as the fee is disclosed in our rental policies. As for communication, checkout instructions were sent electronically to the contact information provided with the reservation. Since the person making the reservation was not staying at the property, the work crew may not have received those communications directly. When asked about checkout procedures, we confirmed that the instructions had already been sent. We strive to provide clear communication, transparent policies, and a comfortable experience for everyone staying in our properties. We encourage guests booking accommodations for others to share all arrival and departure instructions with the individuals actually occupying the home.
