Richard, we are truly sorry that your stay did not provide the quiet and solitude you were hoping for. We take great pride in offering: exceptional guest experiences, prompt resolution of issues when brought to our attention and proactive communication about any known concerns Unfortunately, we were unaware of the dock work next door during your stay. Had we known earlier—or been informed during your visit—we would have done everything possible to improve your experience. When we spoke at the beginning of the week, you expressed happiness with your stay, which makes it all the more disheartening to learn that things changed so drastically toward the end. We are also sorry for the overall construction happening near Vanderbilt Beach. Thankfully, this has not affected our other guests, but we understand how disruptive it was during your visit. We strive to be upfront and transparent in all our dealings as hosts, which is why it saddens us deeply to hear that you felt deceived. As we discussed, we wanted to find a resolution to make things right. Your satisfaction means so much to us, and we would have been happy to explore options to enhance your experience.
