Me and my wife had a great time and really enjoyed the cabin. It was clean the hot tub area was amazing. The only thing I would change is it would be nice to have some blinds on the windows by the staircase. We would definitely stay here again
We had the best time at the Treehouse! Its close to all the major trails (Garden of the Gods is literally down the street as is Rim Rock and Pounds Hollow). The Treehouse is the perfect size, was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was the best way to finish off a day of hiking. The group managing these properties does a great job with check in, check out and also checking up on you during your stay. Highly recommend if you're wanting to explore the Shawnee area!
The treehouse was a really great time. Trees provided privacy, even though you have neighbors. House was beautifully built. Great outdoors feel. Hot tub was great after hiking. Unfortunately at first it didn't meet our expectations. Check in was at 3pm, we got there at 6ish. The cabin had NOT been cleaned at all. Bed stripped, no linens, dirty bathroom, full of previous guest linens and towels. I had to call the host and they called the manager to get a cleaner out. She came and we waited by fire pit for her to finish for a bit. She was very apologetic and really nice. About 730ish we finally got to unpack and relax. It would've been nice to have something done by the manager to make up for this miscommunication. Hopefully the next guests don't have to deal with this. For the price, it should've been done before arrival. Hot tub and over the stove lights need replaced, its super dark at night and Vrbo description needs amended, no dishwasher, not a big deal to us though, large clock needs batteries. Would definitely come again and recommended this place to several people. Loved the house.
The treehouse hot tub getaway was perfect. Just what we needed to rest, refresh, and reset. The treehouse itself was so quaint, quiet, and cute! Very log-cabin in a tree inspired, but also fairly modern with the lighting, electric fireplace inside, and Roku smart television, plus a full kitchen and bathroom. The lighted suspension bridge to the hot tub was absolutely gorgeous, but be prepared to be in nature (meaning there are bugs and animals and spiderwebs). We did get to see some absolutely gorgeous birds (cardinals, yellow-bellied finch, and a HUGE owl at the cabin) and it’s perfect for “glamping” or modern-day camping with the set up for grilling your meals and a perfect campfire ring. Super close to many gorgeous hiking trails and beautiful nature to get grounded. Be ready for no cell service in the area (but that’s part of the beauty of it)
