Excellent location near a lovely park and convenient to I5. Quiet calm and generally idyllic. Super easy to get in and out. Would absolutely use again!
We were very happy with our accommodations. Check in was easy, no hassles. Communication was great. The neighborhood was quiet and a nice little park across the street. Oh yeah, we got there at a perfect time as the cheery tree was ripe for picking! We would stay there again.
We stayed 2 nights in this home. We didnt use the kitchen but there were dishes available for use. We did utilize the w/d. The house satisfied our needs!
There was a little mixup getting into the house, and the yard had not been mowed for some time (not a big deal for us) but communication was excellent and the issue was quickly resolved. Not fancy, but VERY QUIET and it was the perfect location for our needs. We would stay there again without hesitation.
Overall a very nice place for me and my family to stay. However, the upstairs is nearly unusable in the summer when the temperatures get into the mid 70’s and above. There are no hampers for your clothes which I would recommend getting at least one. Would also suggest leaving some more toilet paper for longer stays. There are also numerous scraped up pots that should also be replaced. I would also suggest putting in some ceiling fans throughout the house. I believe this would be a great investment. I believe this would help immensely with helping cool down the house. A fantastic location right across from the park and being able to get outside. Also super close to the light rail station which was a huge plus for taking to baseball games! The backyard in the photos showed cushions on the chairs but those were non existent. I believe that the listings photos should be updated to reflect more accuracy. Would recommend stating when trash days are and getting a larger trash bin. We had to ask a neighbor what day to place these on the curb or we would have had overflowing garbage.
This is a very nice quiet neighborhood with a park right across the street. My grandsons were able to come and play at the park and we were close to be able to visit them with ease when we come back to Seattle. We would love to stay here again.
Five family members stayed here over the Fourth of July weekend, and the only downside was the loud music with heavy bass from an outdoor event in the park across the street the evening of July 5th. My husband proclaimed it the best rental of any we've been in. The beds are super comfortable, and with two of them being king-sized, even those who normally have their own beds (like two of our daughters) can share with no problem. The water pressure of the shower is excellent, and the bathroom was well stocked with thick towels. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, plates, and cups (along with pots and pans and the like), so that we were able to have multiple meals before running the dishwasher. And there were boxes of tissues in various rooms--we're a family that appreciates having access to tissues. :) Although we didn't use the backyard much, it's fenced in and offers a sense of privacy. Jessica responded quickly to a query we made and was very clear about procedures for checking in and checking out. The neighborhood is great for walks; the Fred Meyer grocery store is only a 6-minute drive away; and in Edmonds, less than 15 minutes away, there are distinctive shops, lovely water views, and a ferry ride to Kingston that we all enjoyed. The food at The Rusty Pelican in Edmonds is excellent; the prices may seem high but the portions are large. Our daughters also raved about the Molly Moon's, a homemade ice cream shop there.
