Needs updating

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is in a wonderful location. Good bones inside in & out but needs a deep cleaning. Arrived to a musty odor, carpet in master bedroom was dirty in 3 foot sections, master bath shower had blackened grout & some was missing. Washing machine gasket around the door was covered in mold. Our son cleaned it the best he could as he is allergic to mold. We were given 1 bath towel & 1 wash cloth per person. Kitchen cabinet was broken before we arrived. Fan in one of the bunk rooms was missing the remote but Doug brought fans to help with the issue. All mattresses need to be replaced due to divets. All in all, house needs to be deep cleaned, etc. Will not rent this property in the future.

The beach is great for young children as the water is low for a long way out! The kids loved traveling by golf carts and the beauty of the marina!

Located in a very family friendly neighborhood in close proximity to beach access. Customer service by the property management team couldn't be any better, and we've stayed in many, many places over the years. Would definitely stay in this lovely, well maintained Cape Charles home again!

Very comfortable beds, good layout for meals and entertainment, great location. The property is in need of some minor updates and we had a few cleaning issues that were resolved when we reached out. I’d recommend they consistently provide extra sheets, towels, paper towels, etc.

We stayed at Oyster Republic in 2025 and was so impressed! Unfortunately, the property was not as clean and kept up this year and the price was not nearly as good! We love Cape Charles and will return as a family in 2027. We will be checking for other properties with a pool, cleaner and kept up! The price for a week is crazy!

The views are beautiful, and this year we got to experience the Tall Ships that came into the harbor during our stay. We highly recommend this property for your stay in Cape Charles

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location or a better view. Plenty of room in the garage for the golf carts we rented. Can't wait to come back next year, hopefully to the same house!
