We enjoyed our stay and loved the neighborhood! However, my review would be more favorable if the house had better mattresses and a real sofa. The mattress in the back bedroom was so bad I was in pain the next day. The futon in the living room was cute but not comfortable at all. The toilet was plumbed so far from the wall that the door scrapes it every time its opened/closed. If improvements were made I'd book this place for all my DC travel in a heartbeat!
Good neighbourhood, well lit. House was warm and inviting, with all the amenities we needed. Minor issue on check in, but easily overcome and the communication was all.ost immediate, so I didn't feel the need to mark it down. Property was easy to access, and parking was always available. Love the stay and I'd we ever visit DC again, we'd definitely want to stay here again
It was a good place to stay. Uber ride of 20 to get to down town. Quite place. Didn’t hear neighbors at all. Someone was always walking their dog and was friendly when we talked. AC worked great. Street parking was not hard. Just no room on the street in front of the house. We just used the side street and no problems. We drove over to Fort Trotten train station and took the train in. That was pretty simple. There are two Walmarts near by. Beds were comfortable. Shower was good. Overall I would use it again
