Near 4 wheeler trails. Nice breezes. Great place to walk and hike as well as many trails throughout Washington County. Abundant wildlife.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was exactly what we were looking for—cute, clean, and incredibly peaceful. Quiet, rustic views with all the modern comforts one could need. The area offered fly fishing, dark sky views for astronomy, and access to nearby Cutler for a boat ride out to see Puffins. The small kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans and tools to cook or make a k-cup coffee.

This ranks as one of the best, most peaceful places we’ve stayed. It had everything we needed for light cooking. Our stay at the Little Mountain Cottage was wonderful! It was clean and cozy, full of rustic charm while still having modern conveniences.The location is stunning, with a 360 view of the surrounding woods and lake below. It is truly private, with no other properties nearby, and no through-traffic.We stayed three nights in late May. It was quite chilly, and very windy on top of the mountain, so definitely bring warm clothes! This was a great location for what we wanted to do, which was hike along the Bold Coast area. There is a small gas station and convenience store nearby.The host was kind and easy to communicate with! Everything we could think of was provided. We thought we would have to buy firewood when we got up there, but plenty of firewood, kindling, and paper was available for starting fires in the fire pit.The little mountain cottage is truly a hidden gem!
