We had the most amazing honeymoon here! The mountains were gorgeous and the cabin itself was the coziest, most relaxing, and peaceful place! Most everything was within a 20 minute drive and there was no shortage of activities from exploring the Biltmore to fancy dinners in downtown Asheville! Definitely would stay here again for the gorgeous views and adorable cows too!

This property is perfect! Beautiful, quiet setting that’s close to Asheville and a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Although we didn’t do any cooking, the kitchen is more than equipped for meal preparation. We loved the serene view from the lovely front porch and the picnic table and fire pit out back are nice too! I would definitely come back here!

I liked seeing the sunrise every morning and feeding the horses near by. I liked the view of the mountains. The beds were very comfy and it was and it was a great stay.

The accommodation was great. Very clean and equipped with all potential needs a visitor could want. The amazing scenery was breathtaking. The loft bedroom allowed you to wake up with sensational views. Very nice stay for my husband and I.

The view from this cabin especially in the front is lovely. However it was more difficult to enjoy because the landscaping is extremely overgrown absolutely everywhere and it’s quite dirty on the porch…maybe different/newer/clean furniture would help… just wasn’t an inviting place to sit and relax. I also think newer/cleaner pillows/linens would enhance this cabin experience for the better :) The lists and rules from the refrigerator compared to the email also had conflicting information which was a bit confusing….Kind of felt like a museum with all the dolls and just felt a bit cluttered. It’s a lovely property just needs some good tlc

Our landscaper mows and weed eats weekly., trimming and cuttings shrubs, bushes, cleaning out flower beds and mulching are done every spring and fall. Our road and driveway are gravel. With the extreme 90 temperatures for over a week and no rain sure kicks up the dust. Unfortunately the porch gets dusty. Sorry the decor was not your taste. Coming from Bavaria, Germany I was hoping my guests would appreciate things from my homeland (including the dolls). Several pieces of the furniture were my parents which came with us when we came to America. My grandfather painted several paintings as did my granddaughter. My deceased husband made all the shelves, paper towel holders etc. Yes you are right it is a museum. It warms my 82 year old heart when guests ask me about the history of the cabin and unique items in it. Looking forward to your visiting again. HAPPY AUTUMN

Beautiful and comfortable home in the midst of gorgeous scenery! Nearby cows, turkeys, and horses all give you the feel of country living. Breathtaking sunrise over the mountains! It would be helpful to have instructions on using the remotes and TV, but a very small problem compared to the great time we experienced. Highly recommend Tranquility.
