Excellent property and the dock made fishing easy with out boat. PDC close by with lots of stuff to do and nearby UTV routes provided great scenery when on our bikes.
The Cabin rustic looking inside and very clean, the view was fantastic and the host responded quickly when we reached out. Despite the week long rain we had a great time!!

Thank you for your review! Hope to be your host again in the future.
The cabin was just the right size for our group of 5. We were very thankful for the air conditioning, as the temperatures was in the 90’s. The amenities were spot on, not lacking what we needed during our stay. We were able to have family from the area visit for cards & the space was perfect. The property was well marked, very pleased with the dock space. Loved the deck, especially at sunset! We would love to stay again, maybe even longer.

Nice small property. Beds were extremely comfortable. One bathroom, rather small/tight. Nice view with nice deck space. Inside of property nice and clean, outside property could use some work. Seamless and smooth check-in process.

The listing photos represent the property entirely. There is newer vinyl siding and the wood was professionally painted this year. The yard has a new picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit. There is no landscaping on any properties on Ambro Road because they are surrounded by a protected wildlife preserve and are subject to seasonal flooding. The outside of the home is similar to all the other homes along the river on Ambro Road. The home is functional inside and out. The property is perfect for anyone who wants to be outside and enjoy all the Mississippi River valley and Driftless area has to offer.
This is a great place right on the water. Since my family used to rent cabins in the Ambro over 60 years ago this was awesome. The only reason for 4 stars is because of the tiny dock. The owner is not misrepresenting the size but if you have any size boat bigger than a flatbottom you can't tie up. A bigger dock would make this 5 stars. Plus I think the neighbors are getting tired of being asked to use their dock.

Thank you so much for your honest review and for staying with us at our Mississippi Riverfront cabin. We’re sorry to hear the dock didn’t meet your expectations. Most of our guests typically use the nearby public boat launch—just a short walk from the cabin—to put their boats in and out of the water, then park their boat and trailer across from Ambro in the designated spot. We understand your situation was unique since you didn’t have a way to transport your boat in and out, and we truly appreciate your feedback.
