Our Disney Cars themed house is a little over half a mile from Disneyland, only a 20-minute walk! With space for the entire family, this house is the perfect place to enjoy your Disney family vacation. Enjoy your own private gated pool and spa. Watch the fireworks from the back of the yard. Your time at Magicway House is sure to create magical memories for the entire family!
This 5 bedroom 3 bath home has just been elegantly remodeled with families in mind. The Master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and a 42" LED TV, DVD and is beautifully furnished with a private shower and tub. Next to the master is a fun Disney themed kids bedroom with a bunk bed (twin on top, full on the bottom and trundle below), PlayStation, TV, and games. The third bedroom also has large queen bed that elegantly appointed. Fourth and fifth bedroom are on the opposite side of the house facing a lovely view of the backyard and the pool. This perfect for two families to share a house. The fourth bedroom has cal-king size bed and kids twin bed next to it. Fifth bedroom has a queen bed and a sofa bed.
There are three bathrooms in the house. First bathroom is in the master bedroom with a shower and tub. The second bathroom is in the hall way with a shower. The third bathroom is near the fourth and fifth bedroom with a shower and tub.
Our brand new open kitchen, dining area, living room has a huge 55 inch LG TV, blue-ray player, free and WiFi. Cable subscription with Disney channel is also available so you and the kids won't miss your favorite shows and games while you're on vacation. You can also connect to Netflix through our blue-ray player or watch one of our favorite Disney DVD movies! The modern kitchen has all the conveniences including dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, and the pots and pans to help make a home-cooked meal. We even have a pancake maker and a griddle. Plates, utensils, cookware, children's plates and utensils, a crock-pot, coffee pot and more are all there for your use. A highchair and booster seat are also provided. Outside you will find a sparkling gated pool and spa. A BBQ and patio set are also available in the back yard so you can grill up your favorite burgers and hot dogs while watching the kids swim. In the garage, you will find a brand new Electrolux front loader washer and dryer for your use.
A keypad entry makes it easy for guests to get in and out of the house. There is no need to pick up a key so you are flexible to arrive when it is convenient for you. Plus you can make your own personal code so there won't be any worry of getting locked out or wondering where you placed the key. The key codes are individually coded for you during your stay for your security.

Great location, but needs a good cleaning and refresh.

House was fine and overall stay was just okay. It was difficult to get comfortable as most everything was worn out just enough to make you question how clean it was. Compared to other places we’ve rented, this was a dated. And for the price, definitely not worth it for us. Liked the house location and the pool was fine, but again not very well maintained or overly clean.

Not Worth the Money

We were asked before our stay if we would be willing to allow contractors to work on the garage ceiling doing sheetrock while we were out of the house each day. I said no to that. If there is an active renovation going on, the property should not be listed as available. In addition, we ended up not being able to use the garage for cars because the garage door was unplugged (non-functional?) and we had to lift the old 1960's garage door by hand to get in and out. The door did not lock in a safety position and could easily come crashing down, and it's a heavy door. This hazard alone should have made the property unavailable, and I don't think that it would pass Anaheim construction and safety codes. The garage was also covered in dirt and dust so that when we did our laundry the first time, our clothes got dirty from being placed on top of the washer and dryer. In addition, every property I've ever stayed at had small complimentary items such as coffee, tea, hot cocoa, drink mixes, small laundry detergent, etc. This house offered absolutely nothing. Those little touches go a long way. The house itself is obviously old and appears to have simply been painted over many times inside, leaving it feeling dingy. The lighting is also lacking, adding to the dingy feeling. The hallway bathroom had bugs coming out of the shower and sink drains daily. The back sliding door also does not lock. This house was simply not worth the money I spent.

Torrential Rain & Garage Door Issue Your stay coincided with an unusual period of torrential rain in Southern California. The excessive moisture caused the garage door to become extremely heavy, which unfortunately led to the garage door opener breaking just before your arrival. We quickly ordered a replacement and reached out to ask if we could install it while you were away to avoid any disruption. However, we completely respected your request to have no work done during your stay, so the door remained manually operated. We understand this may have been an inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience. Garage Dust & Dirt During Rain The heavy rains also contributed to dust and dirt accumulating in the garage. Had we known this was an issue during your stay, we would have gladly sent our housekeeping team to clean the area. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can ensure a better experience for future guests. Enhancing the Home We’ve taken your feedback to heart and have since added additional lighting to brighten up the home and create a more inviting atmosphere. Unusual Weather Conditions & Bugs The severe rains during your stay also led to an increase in gnats indoors. This is not a common occurrence, but we completely understand how it could have been an inconvenience during your visit. Thoughtful Touches We love the idea of adding more complimentary items like tea and coffee! Currently, we provide essentials such as soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper, but we’re always looking for ways to make our guests feel even more at home. We appreciate the suggestion! Actions Taken We’ve made several improvements following your feedback to enhance future guest experiences, including: ✔ Garage Door Opener Fixed – . ✔ Additional Lighting Added – The home is now brighter and more welcoming. ✔ Gnats Issue Resolved – Pest control measures have been taken, and the issue has been fully addressed.

Not sure id stay at this same place unless it was the closest and only home available.. the home its self was okay. I was expecting the car theme to be better and more disney "car themed". Yet it was.. regular type cars mostly. the vibe of the home wasnt great. The first thing you see is papers plastered all over the garage and house.. telling you the rules ect. Like youre a child. Anyone who is going to follow the rules, will and if they will not, they just wont. It does not need to be posted throughout the outside and inside of the home. The papers also contradicted themselves. Stating different amount of cars whom could park. The book inside the home needs updated also, its waayyy out of date to the rules now stated in email and the listing stated you could see the fireworks from the home. Which you can. But it also tells you that you cant be/gather outside after 1030. Which is when the fireworks start.. false advertising if you wont allow anyone outside.. id make the house rules follow the city rules. Rather than the times even more restricted. The home was okay. It worked. But again. The posting of rules all over is excessive and a total vibe kill. The pool was absolutely freezing. Which if i would have paid 55 bucks a day for only 10 degrees. I would have been extremely upset. It cant cost that much to heat the pool. Or 35 a day for the spa. One night we turned it on before use and couldnt even use it because it took soooo long to heat, it got to late per the rules..

Disney Vacation Home

We rented the house for a birthday getaway with a graduation thrown in. 5 bedroom and 3 baths for 10 people worked great for us. I never figured out how to make it walkable to Disneyland but being that 2 of the guests are 75 we wouldn't have made them walk anyway. We spent most of our time at Disneyland usually coming back to the house late afternoon/early evening to regroup and then those that wanted to headed back to Disneyland. There are grocery stores close by and the kitchen is stocked with cooking items to make it easier. The coffee maker took forever to get a full pot so I opted to get instant coffee but there is a coffee maker. Just start it when you first get up. They say there is no street parking but there were people parked on the street. They do have a street sweep day so there is no street parking on that day and no overnight parking but we didn't have an issue parking on the street off and on during the day. Parking in the driveway is convenient but it does take a little maneuvering to get 3 vehicles in the drive and shut the gate but it's doable. The reason I took off 2 stars is that the first night we found a roach (live) in the silverware drawer. We were able to kill it and after the initial shock I emailed the owners to let them know. I called them the next morning when I hadn't heard back and talked to them about it and they were reluctant to come and spray while we were there which is understandable. We had already gone grocery shopping and because it was in the kitchen they would have had to spray inside so we packed the food in the fridge and tried to keep everything else sealed up hoping there would be no more issues, at least that we would see. Unfortunately, over the next 3 days we saw more in the garbage, the dishwasher and the bathtub in the bathroom closest to the kitchen. We tried to keep the garbage taken out, not leave dirty dishes in the dishwasher etc but it was obvious there was an issue and it made the convenience of being to cook our meals a little less convenient when we were washing everything before and after using it. The owner was extremely apologetic and I don't doubt that he had someone in there spraying as soon as we left but for us it did take away from the experience. So if I had to do it over again I would still consider this rental an option however I would just ask the question about when it was last treated for pests.

Dear Teri, Thank you for staying at our home and as you can imagine we are very sorry about the pest issues. I would like to give you some background and let you know what we have done since you left. Our commercial class pest control service is with Terminix is intended for hotels and vacation rentals. We have had this service since we started. The house is inspected by Terminix every month and sprayed on an as needed basis. The inspection and spraying can take as long as a full hour both indoor and outdoor. In addition, our housekeeping supervisor looks for such problems every time a guest checks out. We have been in operation for about three years and this is the first problem of this sort. After you left, we had our Terminix team come in, inspect and spray the house both indoor and outdoor. They also identified a couple of opening under the sink where the pest could have come in. Those opening were filled in. We believe the problems is resolved but are continue to monitor it very rigorously to make sure it does not resurface. I sincerely apologize for this embarrassing situation. Rick

Family Roomy!

Very relaxed home in historic Disney development. You CAN walk to the parks if you can afford extra mileage. Uber is cheap! We had 11 people. House was more than adequate. Didnt even use one of the bedrooms. Helpful staff! Great water pressure in shower! Fun!

Great family retreat for Disney

This property was so cute and so well stocked. We appreciated the lovely kitchen and the pool, which were exceptionally clean. Beds were very comfortable and we all had our own spaces. It was a bit of a hike to Disneyland, but we recommend using an Uber as it is cost effective and easy to navigate. We also recommend Marri’s restaurant down the street - very reasonably priced and very good food. Also, ordering groceries to be delivered through Albertsons was wonderful. There were a few issues with the washer and the kitchen sink disposal, but we’re attended to promptly by the property manager and the owner. Overall I would recommend this to anyone with families looking for a cute place to stay. Thanks to JP for everything. It was lovely to meet you.

Great place to stay while at Disneyland!

This was a nice house, lots of room. The pool was nice and the A/C worked great. There is a BBQ and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. When we had questions the answers came promptly.

The location was outstanding. The home is very worn and cleanliness was not up to my standards, though, I have really high standards. It is definitely not what we are used to from other VRBO properties. While my adult children were also not impressed with the cleanliness, we all agreed that the location made up for the condition and the grand kids could have cared less.
