Welcome to Glenn Haven! This charming 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage is located in a lakefront community of Glenn Shores with association access to Lake Michigan. You are a short walk (or drive) to the private Lake Michigan association beach!

This cottage sleeps up to 5 with a King bed in bedroom 1, and a Queen bed in room 2. In the living area there is a double sleeper sofa.

The full kitchen has all the amenities for preparing meals for your group. Outside you will find a gas fire pit, a second firepit for wood burning, and a gas grill.

Relax outside in the screened patio, or by the fire, or head to the private association beach to watch the beautiful Lake Michigan sunset. There are 4 beach chairs and beach towels for your use at the private association beach. We do have a ring doorbell at the front door.

Glenn Haven is located half way between South Haven and Saugatuck. With private lots, and small narrow streets, this is the perfect place to feel secluded and private even with neighbors nearby. With numerous lake access and viewing spots, Glenn Haven offers a Great Lake Michigan experience.

RENTAL RULES
Please review our house rules prior to booking. You will be asked to agree to all rules and provide a guest list before door codes are sent. If you are unable or unwilling to abide by these policies, our cottage may not be a good fit.

1. Smoking (of any kind) is NOT allowed in the home
2. MAXIMUM of 5 registered guests (including adults, babies and children) at ANY TIME due to the smaller size of the cottage, therefore parties/gatherings are prohibited. There will be a per day fine for exceeding guest limit.
3. Neighborhood QUIET HOURS are from 10:00p.m. – 8:00a.m due to the woods and water, sound travels and many of our neighbors are permanent residents.
4. Pets are NOT allowed. While we love pets, we are unable to host pets as we have severe allergies (this includes ESA).
5. Parking is limited to 2 vehicle(s), and only in driveway. Parking on the road or on the grass is not permitted.
6. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. Guests are responsible for damage due to flushing anything other than toilet paper.

Booking Process: Guests must sign and return the rental agreement within 24 hours before the booking is fully confirmed. Failure to sign agreement may result in cancellation without refund.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please return the beach key to the hook in the kitchen. This must remain for the next guest. If you have time to start a load of towels, our cleaners would be incredibly grateful!
Please button up the backyard by returning any beach Items (chairs, wagon) to the deck boxes, and covering the fire pit and grill if you utilized them during your stay.
Checkout is at/before 11am. Our cleaners generally arrive right at 11am. Please let us know if you depart earlier!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Max guests allowed on property is 5, (includes adults, children, babies), and we are unable to host events/gatherings. Two parking spots in drive only
No smoking on property, owner has severe pet allergies so we cannot accommodate pets of any kind. We have a ring camera at front door.

The cottage was clean and had all the amenities to have an enjoyable weekens. The owners are attentive to messages. The only thing was the beach was a bit further from the umit than we thought before we arrived

Great Stay!

This house itself was adorable and clean, but the outdoor spaces (screened porch and firepit area) are a great bonus! The private beach was perfect for our needs, so we opted out of going to the busier public beaches in town. Our son loved playing in the sand and looking for rocks, and we made sure to watch the sunset every evening. Great location- close to South Haven and short drives to Holland and Saugatuk (highly recommend the dune ride tour!l). We made lots of great memories and hope to return in the future!

Wonderful weekend getaway

We had such a wonderful time at Glenn Shores. Ashley was so quick to respond to any questions that we had prior to our stay and during our stay. The house is exactly as pictured on the listing - so clean, cozy, and all updated. The porch and yard are lovely places to relax, and our kids loved the wagon provided to walk to the beach. Check in and check out was super easy, and the beds were very comfy. The house is a short drive to downtown South Haven and to Saugatuck, and we enjoyed both while we were here. We also enjoyed Bumbleberry Farms (great for little kids)! You will not be disappointed when staying at this cottage!

This just became my favorite Vrbo EVER!

This was such a wonderful property I was truly sad to leave after our three nights!!! Not only is it a great location in a quiet neighborhood with a private community beach but it is perfectly situated between south haven and saugatuck…a quick 15 minutes drive to either. It was just a truly relaxing place to be (and that says a lot bc I had my 11 and 13 year old boys with me!). What made it so great was how easy it was to be there! Little things like aluminum foil and ziplock bags so you can store leftovers, laundry detergent, toiletries, an abundance of blankets, beach chairs and towels along w a wagon to get them all to the beach. It’s like Ashley asked herself “how can I make my home the easiest and most comfortable place to stay?”…and this did all that and more. We grilled and enjoyed the fire-pit every night. The beds were so comfortable. Ashley was so easy to communicate with. I can’t wait to come back next summer for a longer stay!!!Thank you Ashley for sharing your home with us!!!

Wedding Haven

We stayed at this property for our wedding weekend. It initially was booked with previous owner. When Ashley purchased the home she made sure the rebooking process was seamless with great communication. When we arrived Ashley checked in with us and made sure she had our cell phone numbers in case of any emergencies. The information binder available has everything you could need. She messaged us several days before our stay to notify us that the evening before our stay was open on calendar so we came a day early which worked out well! The house is well stocked with k cups, laundry supplies, extra linens for pull out couch, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie board and sand bucket. It is decorated wonderfully and feels cozy and modern. The large shower is absolutely beautiful as well. The indoor space is small but maximized with open concept main area, decent sized bedrooms and a bathroom. It worked perfectly for the 2 of us and our two young kids. The large outdoor area with both a propane and normal fire pit was so relaxing. The backyard is wonderfully quiet with great privacy - you feel like you are alone in the woods! A 5-10 min walk from the backyard (and down a very steep privately gated driveway) is a small private beach. We recommend driving down the drive with key provided! The location is perfectly nestled in great driving distance between Saugatuck, South Haven and Fennville (10-15 min drive to each).

We love this side of the state as it has the best beaches, the most amazing sunsets, and is more relaxed. We also love the private association beach which is less crowded in the summer!
