Wonderful location and updated interior. We will absolutely be staying here again. We loved the pink kitchen, hot tub, enclosed porches, fireplace, and fishing dock. The host was very responsive and kind. Highly recommend.

This was a nice, comfortable home that was conveniently located to things in Swansboro, Cape Carteret and Emerald Isle. Very clean upon arrival and the master bedroom was comfortable, and the fenced-in yard was great for our 2 small dogs. We liked that they had Roku for the TVs, as well. Will definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. The only downside was the booming we kept hearing that made our dog uncomfortable but not much we can do about that. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend- The Other Benton’s

Sunset House Getaway

This house was the best house we have ever stayed at through VRBO. It was so clean. The beds were so comfy. They also provided anything you could ever need in the kitchen. We were all sad to leave.

Nice views from the deck

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is nice and the beds were comfortable. Modern conveniences throughout the house. It is located right on the busy state highway, which made it a bit difficult getting in and out at times. Pretty quiet inside though.

Sunset House

Great littlel house with dock for relaxing and beautiful views of the marsh. Very very clean. Only downside is one bathroom.

Great dock and view

The location was great! The dock and view were excellent. The house is older and the outdoor furniture was in bad shape. The owner also stopped by and walked around the property when we were there which is probably allowed but kind of annoying.

So sorry for the furniture, most of the furniture is only a year old, except the swinging bench and rocking chair, which are still very much usable. We do check on our boat at times (once a month) which is in our listing but never disturb guests other than walking around the back of the fence and to the boat, sorry for the confusion on that, but we make it a point to never disturb our guests or walk in the yard.
