Best Location In Lake Placid By Far!

Fabulous prime location. We bought this Morningside Townhome recently because of its superior location and being able to walk to the beach, golf course or anywhere downtown. We have completed renovations and we have three full bedrooms and two full baths. We have furnished it with $37,000 worth of new upscale bedding and Adirondack style furnishings. Each bedroom has a new 48' HD TV and the living room has a incredible 75' HD TV. (like going to the movies!) Check out 'Elmer the moose' hanging in the living room! Patios on both 1st & 2nd floor. One king bdrm, one queen bdrm and both a queen & twin in 3rd bdrm. Enjoy! Permit#200208

This lovely condo is beautifully furnished and the decor is outstanding. It is just perfect for a stay in the Adirondacks. The location is great and allows you to walk to anywhere in town. If you get a chance to vacation here in Lake Placid, grab it!

The property and hosts were great! The townhouse was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The location was outstanding! Close enough to carry our kayaks to the water but far enough to be away from the noise of town. The teenagers lover Elmer the Moose! Highly recommend.

Great winter trip!

We loved our LP stay!

We had a great week in Lake Placid. The vrbo is perfectly located to town and my daily swim in Mirror Lake. Clean , easy and great communication. We are very familiar with this town and look forward to coming back and staying here.

Beautiful close to town place

Beautiful place to stay, walking distance into town, quiet neighborhood and so close to the high peaks for hiking making the end of our day an easy drive. Also great that's it's dog friendly so I can bring my hiking companions with me.

Great Stay

This property was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, and an easy walk to town. The owners demonstrate an appreciation for their guests in their communications, as well as the "notes" they leave for us in their home.

we loved our stay at Moose Lodge. The condo could use some TLC, mostly upstairs bathroom and family room furniture. The condo was spacious and we loved the location for walking to town. Management was easy to work with, very accomodating

Perfect house in perfect location

Already booked it again for next year - 3rd year in a row. Love Lake Placid and this home is the perfect place to stay when there. Idea location. Plenty of seating for both eating and lounging. Great bedrooms and beds. Love the desk in master bedroom for logging on to work when needed. Perfect all around.

Great location and home

This townhouse is in a perfect location for a fun week/weekend in Lake Placid when you want the space and amenities of home but the convenience of walkability to everything at the Olympic Center and rinks. The house was well equipped in the kitchen and had lots of towels and linens. Having two dryers was great as it allowed us to keep up with the laundry after our hiking and biking excursions. Perfect access out the back to walk to coffee and breakfast in the morning and to walk to Mirror Lake for an evening swim. Easy walk to the golf course as well which was nice for my son and me as we could leave the car for my wife and daughter to go explore while we played golf. Neighbors were very kind and friendly as well. 10/10!

Comfortable and well appointed!

High quality furnishings really make the place feel new and upscale. Chairs, tables, desks and beds are all rustic, handmade amish furniture and extremely high quality. The mattresses and couches are also new and very comfortable. Bluetooth sound bar in the living room and large, new TV's in each room. High quality finish's including some light fixtures, the stairs and railing, bathroom vanity's and hand scraped, rustic hardwood flooring (upstairs) and quality adirondack themed bedding make the Moose Lodge comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked with enough cookware and utensils to serve a large group. Coffee filters, seasonings and some oil was also there. There is no ice maker! The linen closet was stuffed with anything and everything you could possibly need. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. There was laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. The appliances are also all brand new and very nice, including the TWO dryers. It's also very convenient that your car(s) is only a couple steps from the front door for loading/unloading. You CAN walk anywhere in Lake Placid, the lodge is very well located and the neighborhood is quiet. I DEFINITELY recommend the Moose Lodge.

Dog friendly large townhouse with space to spread out, two full baths and a well-equipped kitchen. Quiet, woodsy surroundings but close enough to town to walk to events, restaurants, and shops. Our group included grandparents, parents, two kids and a dog.

The location was great. The issue was the washer was broken. I called the phone number that was listed for emergencies on the property’s refrigerator. The number just rang and it said that the mailbox was full and it would not let you leave a voicemail. Then, I called VRBO to be hung up on twice then to be told that they had the same issue with the phone number. Finally, I was told by the property manager that he was aware that it was broken by housekeeping before my visit. I was not informed ahead of time. My family did not bring enough clothing because we thought we were able to do laundry. I ended up spending an evening of my vacation doing laundry at a laundry mat. Also, paying to wash my laundry. This should have been handled better.

Wonderful location for our first time in Lake Placid. We stayed with our 12, 13 year olds and dog. Pleanty of quick walks, close to Mirror Lake as advertised. All drive times were as adverised ad well. Most importantly the house was spotless. We look forward to our second stay.
Morning walk to Mirror Lake.
4 minute drive to hike Cobble Hill, a little steep but great view.
Morning sunrise on Mirrior. Not spectacular but a nice place to sit nonetheless.
