Lake Pepin Marina Bungalow - River Views, Hot Tub!
A bright, open marina bungalow with panoramic Lake Pepin views, a private hot tub overlooking the river, and one of the most walkable locations in Pepin. Just down the street from Harbor View Café and The Pickle Factory, and close to Villa Bellezza and Woods & Co., it’s an ideal space for wedding weekends, rehearsal dinners, photo-ready gatherings, and relaxed time together by the water.
Welcome to the Marina Bungalow at The Dockside — an open, light-filled waterfront home designed for gathering. With panoramic views of Lake Pepin, a generous kitchen–dining–bar layout, and space that flows easily from inside to out, it’s an ideal setting for shared meals, conversation, and unhurried time together.
The heart of the home is the large, flexible kitchen and dining area, which works especially well for wedding weekends — getting ready with friends, hosting casual rehearsal dinners, or simply having space for everyone to spread out and connect. The layout adapts easily for sit-down meals, buffet-style dinners, drinks at the bar, or slow mornings with coffee and light streaming in from the lake.
The bungalow is furnished with authentic midcentury furniture, fixtures, and lighting, giving the space a warm, timeless vibe. The natural light and clean lines also make it a favorite setting for photo shoots and getting-ready moments. Outside, the space opens onto a large deck and private hot tub with sweeping river views, exclusive to this unit. It’s a favorite spot year-round — morning coffee with mist on the water, afternoon conversations, or evening soaks as the sun sets over Lake Pepin.
We’ve hosted gatherings of all kinds here — songwriting retreats, creative jam sessions for writers, chef-driven food getaways, and good old-fashioned family vacations. The space adapts easily to different rhythms and groups, whether that means focused creative time, shared meals, or simply being together in a beautiful setting by the water.
Perfect for: - Wedding parties getting ready or gathering for rehearsal dinners - Guests attending events at Villa Bellezza or Woods & Co. - Groups who value shared space, great light, and flexible layouts - Creatives, photographers, and design-forward travelers - Guests who want a private hot tub with river views, just steps from town
Please note that the Marina Bungalow is one of two units at The Dockside -- the other is the A-Frame Cabin. Each unit can be rented on it`s own, or the entire property can be booked and a pass-through door can be unlocked to enjoy The Dockside as one massive, 4-bedroom, 4-bath home with two kitchens, two dining rooms, three living rooms/TVs, and a hot tub! This quick weekend stay was fantastic! The place is so retro and classy! The location is just perfect and the host is amazing offering us lots of different activities around the area! Will definitely be visiting again!
Had a lovely winter weekday trip to stay in Pepin. This property was perfect for having a chill day to stay in and enjoy the beautiful views while being close to all the places we wanted to go when out and about.
Our family had a wonderful stay at Pete’s place! The place was great, clean, well stocked, wonderful view, great recommendations. Our teenage boys caught a ton of fish right across the street at the marina and breakwater. Beautiful views. We would definitely stay here again!
A friend and I stayed for a few days while on a work retreat. There was ample space to each set up for work, lots of natural light and comfortable space to spread out. We also appreciated having our own bedroom/bathrooms. Would love to stay again.
Loved the place, very nice for two couples. Each couple has separate bedroom and bathroom. Beautiful view of the water. Would loved to come back again.
My family had a reunion in Pepin as it was the perfect half way point for us. We all had our own places. This location and home was the best of them all. Gorgeous decor with the comforting amenities to make it a favorite vacation spot. This exceeded expectations and would go again.
Our group booked this charming little place that is right on Lake Pepin. It has an adorable mid century vibe with lots of natural light and live plants. It was clean and updated. The beds were comfortable. I loved waking up and taking a morning walk across the trains tracks and around the harbor. Hot tub was great, it was chilly and rainy so we spent a decent amount of time in it. It was fun watching the trains speed by. Such a great stay with a responsive host. Definitely would come back!
