This 2nd floor condo oceanfront escape overlooks the gentle sounds of the Gulf… within 50 feet of your balcony. Pets welcome!

Enjoy the morning sunrise from your King bed… or breakfast on the balcony… even from the guest queen sofa bed in this beautifully appointed condo at the Tiki Condominium. Located 4 miles from the Queen Isabella causeway, Wake to the Waves features a full kitchen, full bath, King Bed, and sofa couch that sleeps 2 w/ cable, HD TV, free wifi, free parking, community BBQ grills on the grounds, and washer and dryers in the complex.

Close to the best available on South Padre. Perfect for singles, couples, families with small children and seniors looking for an ocean front experience. Remember, we are pet friendly, and so is the South Padre Beach…which is right out your door!

Rates vary from $99 off season, to $265 per night during peak summer holidays. Minimum 3 nights. Discounts for weekly, monthly and long term rentals… and last minute rentals. State and local sales taxes are 17%. Additional payment will be required.

Quiet Party

My husband and I booked this property as a birthday weekend getaway. The condo was beautiful and clean, with a great view of the ocean. It was steps away from the beach and had two clean, warmed pools on the property. The property was right next to a big bar and we were left undisturbed, with the doors closed you wouldn’t even know it was there. We were able to enjoy the music from the balcony. The view of the sunrise was spectacular and we will definitely be visiting again.

WOW what a nice place

What a great place. Great location, next door to a couple restaurants/bars, so close to the beach, great views of the Gulf from the large balcony. Everything in the kitchen we needed and more. The owner was responsive and helpful.

Great vacation

This is our 4th stay at the Tiki but 1st time in this condo. It was perfect! Very clean and the location is great! Cheryl was a tremendous help and so friendly and patient. Will be back again for sure!

Stop Looking!

This is where you want to stay - can't get any closer to the beach! Condo has been updated and is very comfortable with a great patio. Beach club next door.... so easy eats and drinks. Great Place - we loved it.

Who ever did the remodeling did a fantastic job. We could see that you spared no expense in the remodeling. Me and my wife are 75 years old and hope we get a chance to rent your place again.

Simply amazing

The condo was exactly as described on VRBO! Clean and neat as well as well stocked. The unit has a wonderful patio with Polywood Chairs which were perfect for enjoying morning coffee or just watching all the action on the beach which is just steps away. We can't wait to go again.

Great location, tasteful decor, top-notch view

This is a super condo in a great location right on the water. The kitchen and bathroom are especially nice. One thing to note is that the property next door had a fireworks display on Friday and Saturday nights. If you're traveling with a dog that doesn't like loud noises, that's something to consider. Otherwise, terrific.

Wonderful Balcony View of Gulf

This condo was very homey and comfortable. Having the beach just steps from the condo was a wonderful experience. The overall cleanliness was good except for the bathroom tub (which was plugged and not draining upon our arrival) The plumber was finally able 3 weeks into our vacation to clean out the drains in the tub and bathroom sink. Although this was a bit of inconvenience our overall stay made for a memorable experience and we intend to return again next winter

Perfect get away

We truly enjoyed our time at this condo. It was right on the beach, very clean, well furnished and a comfortable size for 2 adults and a 15Yr old. We loved the back patio facing the beach for morning coffee and evening cocktails. No need to go out. 2nd floor but just steps from the beach. If you like to cook, bring any spices, sprays, oils, foil, Tupperware and baggies. There are 3 beach chairs and recliners, an umbrella holder but no umbrella and a couple of boogie boards for use in the closet. Make sure to check in at front office to get your parking pass and wristbands for the pool. The pool was nice for a dip after the beach. Grounds were well maintained and staff was pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Great Rental!

We loved this condo! It was in such a great location. The patio and view of the beach was great and came in really handy with our 19 months old (and I'm also pregnant). It was so easy for us to walk out to the beach and pool in the mornings and afternoons/evening and then sit outside and still enjoy the beach while our son took his early afternoon naps. We stayed over the 4th of July weekend so we were also able to relax outside with him and our small dog when the beach was over crowded on that day. The property is on the second level so it was the perfect level to see all the action. In the summers there are fireworks nearby. The corner condo also allowed us to sit on the patio and watch the fireworks from our chairs with a great view! We did a lot of cooking there also and didn't have trouble finding what we needed to make our meals. The furnishing and decor were as described! Even though this condo is in a larger complex we didn't have any trouble with noise or being over crowded at their 2 pools. We are planning on returning!

Perfect little beach condo !

We had a wonderful time and couldn’t be happier with the condo! The management was easy to deal with too, very friendly and helpful. Loved the comfy bed, which is rare in rentals. It was tastefully decorated, and had good quality furnishings. (My daughter loved the fish in the bedroom and named him Gary haha). You can tell the owner cares about her guests with little touches like beach supplies, spices, games and so on. My kiddo enjoyed being able to watch her Netflix cartoons on the TV. I could have cooked anything in the wonderfully stocked kitchen, and the dishes were so cute ! I liked the Tiki as well, excellent location and loved the fireworks view. Also enjoyed the music next door while outside in the evenings, but it was quiet with the doors closed. No party atmosphere, mostly families around and everyone was respectful. The chairs on the balcony were very comfy. Beach chair rentals right out front was a nice perk too. It’s an older building but this condo was nicely renovated, and the grounds are well kept. The inside was very clean, except the shower floor corners could use a good scrubbing. The only thing I would suggest is a small broom or dust pan set for day-to-day tidying without having to break out the vacuum, and maybe a luggage stand for the closet. Also there was only one hand towel and 2 wash cloths. I imagine those things can easily get lost so just an FYI to the owner. I’m already day dreaming about coming back to this peaceful getaway ! Highly recommend!

The condo was very beautiful and clean inside. The only issue we had was we lost internet to condo for two nights and the toilet was barely flushing and then stopped. I messaged the owner to let her know so she could get the amenities fixed before the next person visited the condo. Loved the close access to the beach and despite previous reviews, we really cannot hear the bar on the other side of the hotel next to us. The hotel next to us did play music but they wrapped it up by 11 o’clock each night. The the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedroom were very nice and looked brand new. The pictures on the website don’t justify how beautiful the condo was. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

A True Gem

What a great place to stay. It is exactly as described, very well appointed and very tastefully decorated. We had everything we needed to comfortably enjoy our stay. The location is perfect. We would have our breakfast on the deck and listen/watch the surf. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Definitely a place we will visit again and its location on the island was perfect for us.
