Steps away from the lake, this home was great! Plenty of room for 2 adults and 5 kids. The home was very comfortable and clean. The dock was super great for keeping our boat at, as well as fishing! We will be back!

Even better than the pics- amazing stay!

I came here with a group of 5 adult family members and it was still very spacious! The view is amazing and it was so nice having our dogs be able to be with us. Matthew was an awesome host and very communicative. The house had everything we needed! We will definitely be returning

Wonderful screened porch!

The house was lovely. Very large, nicely decorared and clean. Amenities were great. The screened porch overlooking the lake was amazing. Ceiling fans to circulate the air, outdoor sectional for lounging and a gas fireplace.

Masters Week

Easy drive to Augusta National and plenty of room for our party of 5. Excellent access to the lake and home was well appointed. We had a great stay and the host was easily accessible for any questions or needs we had….but there weren’t many.

Lake front home

This property would be perfect for someone who wants to just stay there and not leave. Neighbor didn’t seem to happy when we arrived . Distance to other things and restaurants was too far for us. We never actually spent a night there and unfortunately we were not offered any refunds.

Sorry you guys decided not to stay at the house. We take pride in describing the property accurately and providing photos. Once the propery is booked you have the address you can use to look at the home's exact location and it's proximity to town. There is a cancellation policy that will provide a refund if the cancellation is requested in advance, but once we're at the arrival date we don't have an opportunity to rent to anyone else. We assumed a refund was not requested for this reason.

We really enjoyed our stay!The location was great. 10 mintues from a Dollar General and 5 minutes from a gas station. The lake house accommodated 5 adults and one child easily. The house was nice and clean and the kitchen had everything you could need to make meals. The walk to the dock was super easy and well maintained. We just had so much fun jumping off the dock, swimming and fishing. O and let me not forget to mention my favorite spot being the screened in porch. And thank you to Matt for being so attentive to our questions. Highly recommend this lake house.

Great place to stay

Nice place over all. The host was very easy to get in touch with and helpful. We went to fish and just spend some family time and this place was perfect. The kids loved the slide on the dock. The location is great for fishing we caught fish off the dock and also took the boat and did very well. I will be taking the kids back next summer for sure. It fit us perfectly.

Happiness on the Lake

Matt was a great host and easy to communicate with. The house was bigger than expected and suited our group well. The kids (and the big kids) enjoyed the large TV, and everyone had room to spread out throughout the house as needed. The kitchen is well stocked for all you'd need for cooking. Can't wait to visit again when the water is warmer!

Great family spot. Plenty of parking for cars and trailers. Liked the easy, flat walk to the dock from the house. Was 5 minutes to the boat ramp. Left my boat tied up on the dock during my time there. Thanks Matt! We’ll be here renting again

Awesome lake life experience

We had a blast at Matt's cabin while visiting from SoCal, only thing I would change is booking a longer stay, lake life is great !From awesome communication to having everything we needed and more it was a perfect place to experience lake life for a long weekend. We kayaked, paddle boated, swam and caught some fish all from the comfort of the front yard and dock. We also rented a boat from Sun life Marina, about a 15 boat/car ride from the cabin. Great location, great amenities and great owner, highly recommend and hopefully we'll be back.

Cozy lake cottage.

Small cottage on lake front with dock and swimming area with paddle board, kayak, and pedal boat. Master suite is nice, but other bedrooms are very small, with limited storage (one small closet for both rooms with no dressers or furniture due to small size of rooms). Large living room and kitchen. We did see cockroaches, but otherwise it seemed clean. Owner was responsive and addressed initial sewage odor after recent floods. Quiet neighborhood and nice lake cove. Nice place for couple with kids, but not adequate for 5 adults.

Sorry your stay wasn’t all you’d hoped it would be. We’ve done our best to describe the property accurately and provide pictures of all rooms as well as notate that one bedroom is furnished with bunkbeds in the description. All bedrooms have dedicated closets. An exterminator visits the home regularly and has made an extra visit after your stay. The smell you mentioned wasn’t noticed before and hasn’t been encountered after, but a plumber has been out and has taken preventative measures just in case. Sorry again that your stay didn’t meet your expectations. I hope the partial refund we provided was adequate compensation for your trouble.

Pleasantly furnished, spacious, comfortable, nicely supplied. The inside was clean, but the outside screened back porch had torn screens, cobwebs and bugs, and did not appear to have been cleaned. The home has a great view of the lake, a nice walk down to private dock, is on a quiet cove. The large, wooded lot is in a peaceful area.The owner was responsive to my few initial questions. I have a few minor suggestions - in addition to repairing the torn porch screens - if the owner wants to contact me. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a great place to spend time

My Wife and I and our beloved GSD, Stetson, spent some time at Mr. Brannan's Lake House at Lake Oconee. It was perfect! The house was very clean and spacious, with a short walk down a level concrete path to the lake. It has LVP flooring throughout, so we weren't worried about damage from dripping water or our dog. It was very easy to keep clean. The kitchen was huge, with plenty of counter space and stocked with every utensil we needed. There is a screened-porch with outdoor sectional sofa where we spent the evenings relaxing, sipping wine, and enjoying "lake life". The porch leads to a wrap-around outdoor deck where the propane grill was located. The master bedroom was again, huge, with an attached bathroom with a glassed-in shower. It was like its own hotel room inside the house. We went swimming, caught a bunch of fish, and really enjoyed the quietness. We didn't take anyone else with us this trip, but it was obviously this was a great place for families. It was so roomy: a large living room area, two other bathrooms, a room with 2 sets of bunk beds for the kids and another bedroom with a queen size bed. We gave it 5-stars and are already planning a repeat trip. Thanks, Matt!
