Oak Bluffs Retreat. NEW PRIVATE POOL

Large beautifully appointed three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house, with a den perfect for space for everyone to enjoy themselves. The enormous living room is sun drenched as it is flanked by floor to ceiling windows and has two sitting areas -- one for nights gathered around the TV and the other which is great for conversation. The living room leads to a large wrap around deck with a gas grill, family size outdoor dining table, and love seat and chairs. There is an open kitchen and dining room that is perfect for entertaining. In the mornings sit and sip coffee or read a book in the cozy sitting room off of the kitchen.

While the inside of the home is inviting, you will be undoubtedly drawn to its outside. There is a large black bottom pool, appointed with lounge chairs for each house quest. The fire pit is the perfect setting for late night chats with friends after a perfect meal together on the large deck off of the living room.

The three bedrooms are on the second floor. The large master with a California king bed is an oasis with an en suite bath and a private terrace. The two amply sized guest bedrooms share a bath and have their own balcony, which is shared between them. One guest bedroom has a queen size bed the other room has two twin beds. On the third floor is a den -- or man cave -- with a sofa, TV.

While the inside of the home is inviting, you will be undoubtedly drawn to its outside. The house sits on 1 1/2 acres with beautiful landscaped gardens. There is a large black bottom pool, appointed with lounge chairs for each house quest. The fire pit is the perfect setting for late night chats with friends after a perfect meal together on the large deck equipped with oval dining table off of the living room. If solitude is more your desire, treat yourself to the private deck off of the master bedroom and a shared deck between the two quest bedrooms.

The location is ideal no matter how you choose to spend your day. Its central location is just minutes from the heart of Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Vineyard Haven and many beaches! The house sits right off of the bike path and is just a short walk to YMCA and all of its amenities -- including its incredible gym facilities and heated pool. A Wonderful Family Get-Away

The house was very well appointed. There was nothing we needed! The house had a very “homey” feeling. The patios off the bedrooms were a nice surprise! Cute little baby and Mom bunny greeted us each day. The location is close to the bike path, and easy to access the main town centers. The home owner was very easy to work with. A peaceful stay

What a wonderful property. Very close to everything - 10 minutes to OB, Vineyard Haven and Edgartown. While close, it's somewhat of a remote setting - well off the main road - and provides much privacy. My wife and I enjoyed morning coffee on the upstairs balcony, even on a rainy morning. The house itself is very well appointed inside and out, beautifully decorated, and just a peaceful place to stay. The property owner was very helpful and communicative. I would highly recommend for families or a group of friends. Thank you!

We had a wonderful week! The house is beautiful, the area is peaceful and a short drive to most things that we wanted to do. We rented bikes and there are beautiful trails nearby that we took advantage of. We had an issue with the WiFi the first full day in the house and it was handled by the property manager immediately. This property is simply wonderful. The kitchen is the heart of the home. The island and large table provide ample seating for a crowd. There are high ceilings throughout giving a wonderful airy feeling, especially in the huge living/family room. There is also comfy living space outside on the spacious deck. The charm of this lovely cottage must be experienced to be fully appreciated. The owners are the best part of our rental on Gamba. I can't say enough about their hospitality and attention to every detail. Such truly warm and welcoming people.

The perfect house for a comfortable Vineyard stay!

My family and I visit The Vineyard every other summer and we've stayed at several very nice houses. This one takes the cake! This house gave us the space and comfort that many other houses in a comparable price range just do not. There were 7 of us in all, 3 adults, 3 teens, and 1 pre-teen; and the layout of the house could not have been better. We were able to have our own space, peace-and-quiet if we wanted; but the kitchen, living room, and deck also gave us very spacious gathering areas for loads of fun. Wow - my family is still talking about this house!

We made our first trip to the Vineyard this past June for a wedding. There were seven of us (all adults). Our son was the first to arrive and immediately texted the family "it's beautiful - wait til you see this place." He was right. The house is gorgeous and the word spacious doesn't begin to describe it! Breakfast and dinner preparations were so enjoyable because we were all able to be in the kitchen without being on top of each other. The family room was AWESOME - comfortable and roomy. The location was ideal - not too far from the ferry but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. I cannot say enough good things about the owners. They responded immediately to any phone calls or emails (and believe me I made a few of each). Our stay was short but memorable. WE SHALL RETURN!!!!

This home was absolutely amazing!!

When we first took the turn onto the street where the home was located we were a little nervous because we didn't see the house. All of the sudden, BOOM, there it was. It looked even better than the beautiful picture online. we walked through the door and our mouths just fell open. This place was BEAUTIFUL! It had everything that you could possibly need in the kitchen, bedrooms, and living room, and the biggest thing is that it was clean. My kids loved the high ceilings and open space, my husband loved the special space upstairs, (man cave with TV and Mini Fridge), and I loved everything including the location. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us. We will definitely be regular renters.

Cherry on Top

As we drove the narrow rode toward this property I instantly knew this trip would be different. My last visit to the Vineyard was in 2009 and as usual we stayed at a B&B. This year we decided to experience a vacation rental. The property is nestled beneath a mélange of trees which proved to keep things cool and comfortable. This beautiful newly renovated house is equipped with everything we didn"t know we needed or required: a large Top Chef-type island in the kitchen is the (heart beat of a house). The wrap around deck and open pit made our cookouts extra special. I started my day listening to the birds and ended my nights gazing at the brilliant stars from my bedroom balcony. Very spacious but not overwhelming, I experienced the privacy I came for even though we had a full house. The airport is minutes away which was a convenience as some of us flew to the Island. The YMCA and MV Community Centers are right down the street a plus for none beach day activities for the kids. The figurative “Cherry on the top” of this house is a well appointed Loft ,the owner refers to it as “The Perch” is equipped with it’s own mini fridge and flat screen TV. What a delight. I fell in love again with the Island of Martha’s Vineyard this house serve the as perfect welcome back Gift.

Gorgeous gem in great location

This was my first stay in this house and I could not have been more pleased. I've stayed in number of homes on the Vineyard that simply do not compare. The décor is modern but comfortable. The house is well-maintained and beautiful. We shared the house with another family and there was more than enough space for everyone. I particularly loved the kitchen and all of the entertaining space. To top things off, the location was perfect for my group.

Beautiful house and grounds; idyllic location

I stayed at this beautiful newly, renovated property in mid-May and was extremely impressed with not only all the amenities of the house but also the location and property. Tree-lined driveway and spacious grounds help get away from the city and into the relaxation! Was very happy with the comfortable beds and fully-stocked kitchen. In addition, the owner was very responsive and helpful -- provided information and recommendations to guide me through my first visit to the Vineyard! Definitely plan to make this a regular summer trip and hope to stay at this property each time!
