About this property

Lake Front Cottage/Floating Dock

Our cottage is located directly off of Cherokee Scenic Hwy 11 in Salem, SC. Located adjacent to Keowee Falls - South, a private, gated community.
The floating dock houses a private boat, but there are moorings on either side to park your boat.

Privately owned home located directly on Lake Keowee with a floating dock. The dock has 2 moorings on either side and a swimming ladder. The house is well equipped with essentials, including washer and dryer, gas grill and satellite TV.

The guests enjoy total privacy. We are, however, available 24/7 for any reason.

Located directly off of Scenic Hwy 11, in Salem, SC and adjacent to Keowee Falls-South. We are just minutes from hiking, golfing and an hour to white water rafting. There is great fishing directly off the dock, or bring your boat and enjoy 18,000 acres of pristine lake fishing and swimming.

In addition to that, you may find a request for a deposit (credit card hold, not a hard charge) and a property agreement to sign.

Get away with family

We had a great time and the house and dock were perfect for a couple of nights away. The location was easy to get to and lake access was close by. Not having WiFi was great for this trip but I would make this a more regular location if I could also work remotely while on vacation.

Thank you, Andrew! We enjoyed having you. We are trying to address the WiFi situation but at this time, there is still no reliable provider in the area. I check every year. There is one company but their service is very poor so it won't work there either.

Relaxing stay

Perfect get away before back to school for this teacher and her family. Very private. We enjoyed swimming in the Lake and the dog LOVED jumping off the dock! I only wish we could afford to stay longer.

Quick easy process and host . We absolutely loved our time there. We saw lots of deer around the house, caught some fish, and simply decompressed. What a great little piece of paradise. My wife and I would highly recommend for some quiet time away. My son had his boat, so we got to ride around the lake and see all the beautiful houses and scenery. We will definitely be back

The property was great. We loved the privacy of the home. The lake water was so clean and warm. I enjoyed the little hiking trail. The deck is completely fenced in which was perfect for our dog. The inside of the house was very clean and inviting. The outside could use some extra love. (Lots of cobwebs). Very nice stay would like to return

Cozy Weekend

The property was so beautiful and cozy! Nestled in the woods and so secluded, the inside also was so quaint! The property doesn’t have WiFi with some spotty service but it made for an unplugged weekend! The entrance / the drive to the property once in the neighborhood was a long gravel road, which I didn’t expect and I had a jet ski trailer however other than that it was great!
