The house & property are beautiful. Just be aware that there is no TV which is stated in the description but I missed that part. Overall a good experience.

About a 2 minute drive from Shipshewana. The porch is amazing! Lots of horse and buggies to watch as they head in and out of town. Very peaceful place. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location. The house worked out well for the six of us. I wasn’t real impressed with the tub arrangement in the main bath but it worked ok.

We enjoyed the house very much. We were not expecting the secondary bathroom to be handicap accessible so the bath in it was not easy to use and we ended up having to both use the shower in the first bathroom. We really enjoyed having a garage accessible every evening. The location was excellent for shopping and seeing the town. Then when the day was winding down, we very much enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the Amish travel by in their horse and buggies. Overall our stay was just what we had hoped it would be and Hostess Julie Miller made everything easy and enjoyable.

The house was nicely decorated and clean, but there was no TV. I found that very odd and irritating. Who thinks to ask if there is a TV. I expect at least one in the living room. Besides not being able to relax and watch TV, it was a nice stay.

This was our second time staying and it did not disappoint. Property was clean, close to Shipshewana, and comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner. Would stay again and again!

This is a great place to stay in Shipshewana. It's so nice to have a home to ourselves and Julie's home was perfect (more than we needed actually- a larger family could easily stay here.)It is within nearly 5 minutes of everything in Shipshewana, while still being "away" from all the action on the strip. Still also very close to Middlebury.Julie was very accommodating. We would definitely love to stay here again if we're back in Shipshewana!

We had a great girls trip to Shipshewana and this was a wonderful place to stay. It was a short and convenient drive to the area shops and the flea market. The Log Cabin Haus was very clean and was perfect for the four of us. The front porch was a relaxing place to watch the Amish buggies go by.

Very clean and comfortable centrally located property and thus was good for exploring the Amish region. Like others who have stayed here we enjoyed sitting, talking, and watching the horses roll by the covered porches. Host was accommodating. Thank you!

This home is exactly as described!! Everything we needed was there! The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. Communication with the host was effortless, we had no issues whatsoever with the house. I appreciated the host reaching out and answering all my questions before our trip to the home. The bathtubs were clean, there was nothing floating in the water when you turned on the jets. This was the first home that I’ve rented that had a welcome gift, a fresh loaf of bread and Amish peanut butter. Thank you so much for opening your home!!! I will be booking again!!!Don’t hesitate on booking this home!!

Absolutely awesome log cabin decor. Large rooms with totally comfortable furniture. So relaxing to sit on front porch and watch the world go by . About a 15 minute walk to blue gate restaurant. We were welcomed by homemade bread and peanut butter spread. Unique bathing in rooms, master has jetted tub, along with shower in bathroom. Walk in jacuzzi in second bathroom. Sinks in other two bathrooms. Even though we were only two occupying there is plenty of room for more. Very kind hostess as some storms passed through and she made sure we felt safe. Close to pumpkinville trail. You can walk to town but would take car for serious shopping. This is a very nice area, friendly and helpful folks. We will definitely return.

The cabin is in a great location in relation to shopping. We loved spending time on the porch to see and wave to the families in the buggies and the bikes. The cabin has everything you need for a great stay. The kitchen had all the amenities to cook if you want. The four of us will book the Log Cabin Haus again for our next girls trip.
