Welcome to Esther Cabin! This charming, authentic Adirondack Cabin is located just minutes away from Whiteface Mountain and is the perfect getaway to enjoy the majesty of the Adirondacks.

Its close proximity to hiking, mountain biking, skiing, world-class fly fishing and Lake Placid make it an ideal location from which to embark on your mountain adventure!

THE SPACE:
Esther Cabin is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin. There is a queen bed in the bedroom. There is a pullout queen sofa in the living room for additional guests. The cabin has a full bathroom with a shower stall. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking needs. The cabin has a washer and dryer for your use. There is a covered porch with a dining table and chairs. Enjoy the backyard firepit while stargazing at night.


THE ROOMS:
Bedroom - Comfortable Queen size bed. Dresser for your use. Full size closet for your use. In the closet is a fan, suitcase rack, and bedding for the pullout sofa.
Kitchen - Coffee & Tea provided. Cooking oil/spray provided. Fully equipped with pots/pans, dishes, bowls, etc. Kitchen has a dishwasher.
Living Room - Pullout Queen sofa. 32" Roku Smart TV with Spectrum TV service through the Spectrum App. There are a few games and playing cards provided.
Dining Space - Round dropleaf table in the Living/Dining area with chairs
Bathroom - Shower stall with Shampoo/Conditioner/Body wash. Hair dryer.
Laundry room -Washer and Dryer.
Outdoor Space - Covered porch with dining table and chairs. Charcoal grill w/ grilling utensils. Fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

Esther Cabin, while private, is located next to our Lookout Cabin and has a shared driveway. Please be respectful of other guests and park in designated parking spaces only. Please bring a maximum of two vehicles to the cabin.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Checkout time is 11am. Place garbage and recyclables in the outdoor bins. Leave dirty sheets and linens on the bed. Leave dirty towels in the bathroom.
October through May please leave heat set at 65 degrees & keep bedroom & bathroom doors open. Ensure all windows are closed and locked. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No unregistered overnight guests allowed on the property.
Only two vehicles allowed at the cabin. Esther Cabin is located next to our Lookout Cabin; please be respectful of guests staying in that cabin.
Quiet time is from 10p-7am to be respectful of our neighbors and other guests. When using the firepit, NEVER LEAVE THE FIRE UNATTENDED.

We loved our stay at the Esther cabin. It was a very cozy retreat for me and my wife. It was close to a lot of things we wanted to do while visiting the Adirondack’s.

We have family in the area and are so happy to have found Esther Cabin to stay at.It was clean, sufficiently stocked, bed comfortable and the location is perfect. Booking was easy. Check in and out was easy and stress free. Communication streamlined and responsive. Property is well maintained and cared for. It snowed while there and early morning there was someone there to clean up the lot and walkways.Lake Placid is 15 min away with good day drinking spots, shopping, restaurants, family activities and Olympic history. Skied whiteface which is 3 min down the road, hiking, snowshoeing and exploring abounds. I can’t wait to return during seasons other than winter to kayak and hike. In warmer weather the covered porch and fire pit would be well used and enjoyed. We will return and have found our home base away from home. TY for sharing your home with us.

Cozy Cabin Retreat

My wife and I stayed here for four nights. This cabin is perfect for a ski weekend, as it is less than 10 minutes from Whiteface. We really enjoyed the solitude and convenience of the location. The cabin was warm, the bed was comfy, and the place was perfect for our needs. The host was excellent with communication. The only negative thing worth mentioning if you are considering booking is that the shower is somewhat small. I am 6'2", and slim, and I felt a bit cramped in the shower. If you are tall and/ or plus-sized, I would be aware of this. Otherwise everything was great, and I would absolutely recommend a stay here!

Nice little cabin-could use a little TLC

We rented this cabin for a week. The location is fabulous with Lake Placid a short drive, hiking all around, Whiteface Mountain down the street. About the cabin: Contact with the host was good prior to our stay and she contacted me during our stay as well to check in. We did not have any issues during our stay, though there were a few things I should mention-they may or may not be an issue for you: steps to the deck need to be leveled, shower is very, very small, overhead light in bathroom did not work, vanity w/light (working) in bathroom is very low to the sink making it difficult to use the sink, ceiling fan only works on high, dishwasher was not secured to the cabinets so it falls forward when opening the door, drying feature does not work and dishes will be wet, refrigerator/freezer has no ice maker, we had to rewash plates from the previous tenants because the dishwasher does not clean well, clock on the wall did not work. The appliances are lower end, though they all were functional. The tv is a little awkard as it is off to the left of the couch-we moved the couch so it was straight on. The host only provided two towels. Overall, the amenities had a 'rental' feeling-functional, but nothing special. The mattress is very soft.This cabin is not bad, however it does need some TLC and a little investment. On a brighter note, the covered deck was great and the firepit was a plus; also a nice grill was provided and the place was very clean. We did enjoy our stay.

Warm, comfy cottage with everything you need

Really sweet, cozy cottage that was perfect for my fly fishing adventure in the ADK. After a day on the water, I read, relaxed, slept well, Definitely will return to this lovely space.
