It's always a pleasure to host a guest and their family like Geeta. We communicated upon arrival to assist with access and as needed for tips on using the hot tub, heater and fire pit, which they seemed to have used and enjoyed. Always nice as well when the guests leave the home clean and tidy and in good condition as Geeta and her family did. We are certainly happy to welcome them back, recommend them to other hosts and open our home to future guess who are looking for these type of enjoyable amenities.
Nice and quiet, perfect for 2 people. Cozy, but homey. Recommended!

Response from VrboOwner on 17 July 2024
Eli was an exceptional guest and a pleasure to host. Excellent communication and left the home very tidy. I would welcome Eli back anytime and would recommend to other hosts. Happy travelling!
For the most part my stay was lovely. The only issue I had was that I could not get the heat working (most likely user error) and my host was out of communication range.
The house was tidy. The kitchen well stocked. Perfect for our needs. We did a girls getaway and the drive to get on the Blue Ridge Parkway was super easy. As was the drive into Asheville. We got chilly overnight so one morning we turned the temp higher. When we got back from our outing it was warm inside. We forgot to tuen the unit back cooler. Overall great trip!!

I’m an Asheville local who enjoys creating thoughtfully designed, comfortable spaces for guests to relax and recharge. I’m happy to share local recommendations if you’d like, and otherwise give guests complete privacy during their stay.
Why they chose this property
Swannanoa offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful, country-like setting surrounded by trees, birdsong, and natural beauty—while still being close to everything Asheville has to offer. Mornings are quiet and calming, often filled with the sounds of nature, yet you’re just minutes from East Asheville and a short drive to downtown.
Within 30–45 minutes, you can explore waterfalls, scenic hikes, rivers, and outdoor adventures throughout the Blue Ridge region. Nearby, you’ll also find a great mix of local restaurants, cafés, breweries, and music venues—ranging from casual and family-friendly to upscale and farm-to-table. It’s an ideal base for guests who want space, privacy, and a relaxed pace without feeling remote or disconnected.
What makes this property unique
Artful Asheville Oasis is a thoughtfully curated retreat designed to feel creative, comfortable, and intentional. The space blends warm, high-quality finishes with personality and color—creating an atmosphere that feels lived-in and inspiring rather than generic.
The home features original artwork from local Asheville artists, including pieces by the host, along with decor styled by a respected local designer whose work spans private residences and well-known commercial spaces throughout the area. This gives the home a distinctly art-forward, one-of-a-kind feel that reflects Asheville’s creative spirit.
For guests who are interested, select artwork or similarly styled design pieces may be available for purchase, and design consultations can be arranged by inquiry. There is never any obligation—this is simply an optional extension of the creative vision behind the home.
