We loved our stay at the Spotted Bear. It was clean, comfortable and peaceful. It was great for our family. We’d definitely stay there again. Location is great to Glacier National Park and Columbia Falls.
This was a great stay. Had everything we could possibly need (including bear spray) and was super, clean, comfortable and convenient to the park. Host was very nice!

Absolutely adorable cabin on beautiful property. The home had everything needed and more for my stay. Communication was excellent. Location was very convenient. I only wish I could have stayed longer and spent more time at the house! If I ever return to the area, I will search out a property from this owner first!
What a perfect cabin for a trip to Glacier NP! We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Spotted Bear. We commented multiple times during our stay how the host had thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Little things that go a long way! We enjoyed the firepit one night but mostly just enjoyed the comfortable beds after long days at the park. Thank you for a wonderful stay...we would highly recommend!

Thank you very much for taking the time to review the Spotted Bear Guest House! So happy you enjoyed the “cabin” and the surrounding grounds.
Doyle was very helpful. There was a small issue with the WiFi going out and he replaced the router quickly and got the WiFi and television working. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Adorable, clean, functional, great patio and fire pit, private and quiet. Convenient location to West Glacier. Will definetly stay again when I can! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This was an excellent location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for our plans in Glacier National Park. The property was clean and well stocked. Quiet and restful!!
The location of the property is very convenient for traveling in and out of the park and the setting is very nice. Having multiple bedrooms and 2 baths was important to us. Because we were coming in early June, we knew the weather could be quite chilly so the fireplace was an additional draw. Unfortunately, the fireplace did not work and there were other minor details that had been overlooked such as burnt out light bulbs, the oven wouldn't work until we ran it through the cleaning cycle, etc. As far as cleanliness, I would rate it fair to good but the property could really benefit from an exterminator's services. Communication with the host was good leading up to and during our stay. However, the hosts stated they would refund us a night's stay due to the issues we had

We inherited Abbott Valley Homestead from our parents. We have lovingly preserved the original "Partners" homes and the authentic log cabins on the original homestead. There are six siblings, three of us actively run the business.
Why they chose this property
Abbott Valley Homestead is a 250 acre property at the base of Desert Mountain. It is surrounded by Flathead National Forest. It is a stunning piece of property and very private, but actually conveniently located to take advantage of the Park and all that the Flathead has to offer.
