About the host
Hosted by Peg Thompson
I am from the east coast of New Jersey. I am a teacher who loves working with students to learn to read in a small group setting. I am a single mom of two young adult sons. My husband, their father, unfortunately passed away in 2016 when the boys were young teenagers. We have moved forward since that devastating time and are coming to terms with our lives in new and satisfying ways. We love vacationing at Hidden Hollow, as it is our most favorite place on earth. My sons in particular, enjoy the expansive property with their friends and family members during each one of the beautiful seasons.
Why they chose this property
Quiet, peaceful, serene, beautiful, calm, warm, nurturing for the soul, energizing, just to name a few. Hidden Hollow is a place to rest, relax, and recharge. It is also a place to hike, wander, and enjoy nature. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends in this magical place. One thing is for sure, when I am there, I never want to leave.
What makes this property unique
Hidden Hollow is unique for so many reasons. It is a large home yet it has a cozy feel. There is something for everyone. The (unfinished) game room in the basement is awesome. We have ping pong, pool, foosball and air hockey. The kids, and adults love this room. The wide, expansive deck has six comfortable Adirondack chairs for reading, socializing, grilling, and watching the beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is large, comfortable, and is filled with any utensil, cookware, bakeware you would may need. The roomy farm table seats at least eight people. There is a side bar/eating area that seats three comfortably. The large comfortable sofas and chairs and just waiting for you to curl up with a good book or take a delightful nap. Aside from everything mentioned above, the home has six beautiful bedrooms and three full size bathrooms that meet everyone's needs.
