Delightful stay

We had an amazing two week stay at the property! We were very comfortable and loved the big yard. Had everything we needed for cooking and was close enough to Acadia for day trips. Would definitely come back!

Excellent Stay

We had an excellent stay for our long weekend in Maine! We were in town for a wedding, and had to travel with our small dog. We had two other VRBOs fall through and to our surprise and delight, we found this home away from home! It was excellently located to everywhere we needed to be, all while being tucked away for a nice quiet stay. The hosts were easy to get ahold of and very welcoming. The house was spacious, and more than we could have hoped for!

We had a great experience staying at this converted parsonage for a week. The house is very old, but well maintained, clean, lots of light from windows, with plenty of bedding, towels, and supplies. The location is good, only about 5 minutes from Holden and less than 20 minutes to downtown Bangor. The listing is not clear enough about the layout, so for anyone reading this review: you enter from the side door and to the right is the laundry room, to the left is the kitchen. Through the kitchen is a dining room and bathroom, with a small bedroom on the other side of the bathroom wall. The front room of the house has comfortable couches and chairs and upstairs are three additional bedrooms. We would stay at this property again and would gladly recommend it to anyone.

First Floor Bedroom, Bathroom Drain & BBQ Grill Firepit

The room smelled musty because owners failed to remove the old rug underneath the new rug. The BBQ Grill I loved, but it was not cleaned. (It took me 30 mins to clean it properly). The bathroom drain needed some work for it to properly drain. (easy task). Overall, I rate to house at 4.8 exceptionally great clean place for anyone willing enjoy a great.
