Welcome to 26 42nd Avenue a gorgeous 6 bedroom 6 and a half bath home on the Isle of Palms. Complete with private pool, elevator, and brand new golf cart! Located about four blocks from the ocean this home is a short five to ten minute walk to the beautiful white sand beaches. The home also has a beautiful backyard complete with a deck, pool and gas grill. The garage also has a wagon with beach toys for your use during your stay.

​​​​​​​Beautifully Furnished, 3 Living Room Areas one on each floor. (3,840 Square Ft).

BOTTOM LEVEL: Large garage under the home with a shower and access to the back deck and pool.

MAIN FLOOR: Features two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Guestroom one has a queen size bed and private bath. Master Bedroom has a king size bed and a private bath. This floor also has a large kitchen with granite counter tops and a cook's kitchen with a gas stove top and stainless steel appliances. A separate dining area and spacious sitting room.

SECOND FLOOR: The second floor features a sitting area with a flat screen TV and two additional guestrooms. Guestroom 2 features a queen size bed and a private bath. Guestroom 3 features two twin beds and a private bath.

THIRD FLOOR: The third floor features a sitting area with a table and chairs and a flat screen TV with a futon and two additional guestrooms. Guestroom 4 features a queen size bed and a private bath. Guestroom 5 features two twin beds and private bath.

All new reservation will receive $250 credit toward beach gear rentals with VayK Life! (3-21 nights only).

Includes free parking, supply of linens and towels per occupancy, washer and dryer, an initial starter supply of paper products and detergents, fully equipped kitchen with dinnerware, flatware, pots and pans. The home does have an elevator with service from garage level to second floor, but is not ADA compliant. Elevator is for convenience only and not a guaranteed amenity. There is a wheelchair accessible beach access on 42nd street.

Fantastic for our quick getaway!

This property was perfect for our family weekend getaway! The pool was great and the size of the house was nice for everyone to get their quiet time to themselves if needed. Would definitely book this location again.

Graduation Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was clean and comfortable. It's close to the beach, and the golf cart was great for getting the stuff there. We also rented bikes to get around. There's a cute convenience store and restaurant right on 41st ave, which was great for ice and extras. We were not successful in getting the ice maker to work. The pool was great.

Great family vacation

My mother has a hard time moving around so the elevator and golf cart made for a very enjoyable week. The pool was great for the kids. There available beach toys and chairs were very nice. The kitchen was nicely equipped - even had a stock of 'left-over' containers. Overall a great family vacation.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house is clean, well maintained and contains anything you would want or need. Beach is a short walk or golf cart ride away, and there are beach chairs and toys in the garage. It was great having the golf cart for morning coffee runs to Wild Dunes cafes. Neighbor in back yard told us to turn down our music even though it was 2 in the afternoon and it wasn’t loud in the first place. Not the fault of the place though. My only complaint is the house is somewhat isolated from downtown, which isn’t a problem if you have a car. We did not, but used Uber which was fairly easy but a bit pricey for the distance.

Wonderfully peaceful vacation!

This location is absolutely perfect! Just a 2 block walk to the beach (or even shorter golf cart drive). The house itself was just perfect! We were a group of 7 adults on a cousins vacation. Each room had it's own bathroom, which we all very much appreciated. The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking together in the immaculate kitchen. Ease of checkin and checkout, proximity to Charleston (15-20 minute drive) for extra entertainment, and private pool all made this property the perfect choice for our family.

Vacation Home

This property was terrific. The pictures and descriptions in the listing were accurate. The kitchen, always a focal point of our family vacations, was very large and roomy allowing for lots of activity and foot traffic without anyone getting in the way of one another. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was especially nice and the pool was fantastic as parts of it were sunny or shady nearly the whole day. Unfortunately, our trip was cut short due to an illness but our stay was memorable and we had a great time. The five-minute walk to the beach (or even faster golf cart trip) was enjoyable and the family had a wonderful time. Thanks for the stay and we'd love to come back!

This house suited our group (aged 5-87) well. We appreciated the well-stocked and labeled drawers in the kitchen. That was a first & appreciated! Having an elevator and golf cart was super-helpful. Plentiful floaties and beach toys made for endless fun. Nice open floor plan on bottom floor. While there’s not much shade over the pool, it was very nice to have one on site. More reasonably price than some other houses in the neighborhood. Would book again.

Nothing mentioned that the elevator did not go to the 3rd floor. We could not call the elevator to a floor other than where it was located. Other than that the house was beautiful and well equipped for six adults.

Very nice house, terrible neighbors

We enjoyed the house, it was well suited for our group of 12. The only downside at the end of the day was the noise ordinance in place on the island (was Tua Lily silence from 10:00 pm to 10:00 am) was a little bit of a bummer. With small kids, our neighbors behind us were quick to call the police as we enjoyed the pool (yes, they actually called the police, who arrived around 5:00 pm and agreed with me that we were not being loud), but this presence of the neighbor was just a weight. The first morning there our kids were just playing in the driveway and the man came over and yelled at them (two six-year olds, mind you) and one of the adults out there with them said they weren’t being loud, just talking and playing. We stayed indoors or had to leave the house early to avoid them, and never saw them out in the mornings on their deck when we were going in and out, she ONLY came out to sit in her pool while we were in ours. It’s like she was looking for a reason to call the police again. The police apologized to us and explained to me that this was certainly not the first time they’d called and they were hoping the ordinance would change. Just wish that was more prominent in the description of the rental.

We lacked for nothing in our Isle of Palms "home". Everyone really enjoyed the pool. The kitchen and dining room were large and well equipped. It was a fun week.

Vacation 2022

The house was beautiful, clean and perfect for our family of 14! Great kitchen, very well outfitted for large group meals and creative cooking. Unfortunately, our main refrigerator/freezer broke, and was unable to be repaired during our week, which was inconvenient! The pool was wonderful and clean! There is a noise ordinance forbidding outdoor play from 10pm to 10am, which was also a bit inconvenient for our children. Otherwise, the beach is lovely, the golf cart was a lifesaver for carrying our gear back and forth to the beach and we had a great time. All in all, I would highly recommend this property for your family vacation!

Loved it!

We loved staying at this property. Short golf cart ride to the beach and ample golf cart parking. The layout of the house was perfect for our larger family stay and the pool larger than the pictures.

We loved the house layout and size. Loved that each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom. Our only complaints were the lack of no hairdryers at all as well as no pool towels. Little tweaks such as these additions and a few upgraded cups, dishes would make this place perfect.

Location was perfect and what a kitchen!

The home was just perfect for our family of 12. The golf cart was a huge plus for my parents. The walk was super easy for all of us to get the beach each day. We all loved cooking in the spacious kitchen together each day too.
