Our Family is from from Eagan, MN. I Shane, Enjoy Fishing (ice fishing preferred), Coaching, and family time. It has become clear to us that with a busy family schedule (3) young Kids we will not be able to get to our lake home in Amery, WI regularly. With that being said want to provide an opportunity for guests to enjoy the property we come to love. We are looking forward to putting our twist on this property. You can expect a prompt response to any issues, and I feel if you visit you might just fall in love with the property as we have and become a regular visitor of Bear Trap Bay.
Why they chose this property
I grew up coming to the "lake house" in Amery which was our family cabin. I have many memories of Bear Trap and have spent time as a kid and now with my kids enjoying Amery and the Bear Trap / Wapo. I enjoy the quietness and the wildlife in this neighborhood as well as the closeness to the twin cities, with young kids the drive being under 1 hour and 30 minutes from the twin cities is a huge plus.
What makes this property unique
This property is unique in the fact that it is on a very developed lake but while at the property you are secluded from neighbors. It also is on a lake that has decent fishing and good family lake time for swimming/boating etc.
There are many fun things to do in the area but of course, the private setting on 6 acres and the 200' of frontage with access to Lake Bear trap / Wapo provide a serene setting. Please note our frontage is Sandy and Beautiful but because it is so sandy it can be difficult to get a deep haul boat into our docks.
There are several private outdoor areas within just the outside of the house it is very spacious inside and out
