The house was perfect for our holiday family gathering on Vashon. The living room is such a nice area to hang out, with great light and views. The bedrooms were situated well to provide separate sleeping areas for each of our family units. The hot tub was a nice break. The kitchen had all we needed for family meals. The host was very nice and responsive.
We greatly enjoyed our stay. The property and views and nearby hikes. The game room and hottub and cozy home. It was a wonderful visit. There were some issues and repairs required which we wish were resolved or communicated further in advance, but our hosts were extremely responsive and we would happily stay there again.
My extended family and I met on Vashon Island to celebrate the Fourth of July and reunite after a long period of being apart. From the moment I booked this lovely home, Brent communicated frequently and thoroughly. The property is unique and filled with all the comforts of home and then some! We really enjoyed the wrap-around deck, outdoor sitting and eating spaces and hot tub. The game room was a blast! The kitchen was well stocked and met our needs beautifully. The bedrooms were comfy and spacious, all with beautiful views. The location was ideal and the firework show was one of the best I had ever seen. We felt pampered and restored in this beautiful home.
Unique and beautiful home in a spectacular setting. This is someone’s home and the furnishings and decor exhibit warmth, and an enthusiasm for life. There is so much to do on this 3 acres for both young and old; more than simply a stack of boardgames. Although there is no air-conditioning, if you are mindful of opening windows in the evening and closing curtains when the sun comes in, you will be just fine. The basement, where there is air hockey and foosball, along with a bunch of other entertainment items is nice and cool all the time. It does not have that basement feel since there are lots of windows. There is more than ample room for everyone to sit at your choice of tables inside or out for family meals. The kitchen is well supplied with cookware and has a stove large enough to cook for a crowd. The bedrooms are large and quite comfortable as are the bathrooms. The loft bedroom can get quite warm, but a fan that was provided did the trick. A short distance down the road is a new park for skateboarding that my family enjoyed. Town is just about 4 miles away and beaches are easy to get to. The hosts were wonderful about answering questions promptly and making us feel welcomed. I would return in a heartbeat to this peaceful retreat.

We are so glad you enjoyed our home and are so happy that you experienced so many of the things that made us fall in love with the property and Island living. Thank you for your thoughtful review. You made our first rental a pleasure. We hope to see you again!
Our visit/stay was AMAZING! The house is beautiful & wonderfully equipped! I loved the kitchen! We were up for our daughter’s wedding and she got ready for the wedding in the Master Suite…I think it was the photographer’s dream to have such a stunning home as the backdrop. Both Brent & Nicole were wonderful -we are Boomers & Tech challenged but they were available to answer question & help out with the neighbors dog who did not think we belonged there…good security system LOL We enjoyed all of the outdoor living/dining space @ the hot tub! Didn’t get to utilized the downstairs as much as we would have liked with so much wedding stuff going on - so for us, that just means we will have to come up & stay again. Many thanks for sharing this wonderful property!!!
