Steps to the best beach in Delaware and Maryland. Fenwick Island, one of the 'Quiet Resorts' is known for its wonderful quality of life. Spend a week and you'll be back year after year. Friendly people, great restaurants, shopping, golf.....too much to fit into one vacation!

Miniature golf, water park, go cart track and mini-boardwalk are just a few entertainment options.

The wide screened in porch is the perfect place to relax after a hard day of fun. Enjoy cocktails at days end overlooking the waterways on the bayside of FI.

All the comforts of home are awaiting your arrival.

Quiet abounds but if it's nightlife you want, it's a short way there. Close to the boardwalk and the amusements of Ocean City or a little ways to Rehoboth and tax free shopping at the many outlet malls.

Cable TV and Wifi included. Flat screen TV's in living room and master bedroom.

Very dirty house!

We have been renting this property for the past 3 years for 2 wks at a time. We have spoken to the owner every year about the UNcleanliness of his place! Every year when we first get there, we clean the first 3 hours before we unpack! It's not fun after a 5 hour drive then to unpack for 2 wks! The bathrooms were filthy. We had to go out and buy cleaning supplies and a new shower curtain and wound up scrubing the showers down as black scum dripped down the wall of the shower and tub! Our feet were pitch black by the time we were finished unpacking and cleaning! They do NOT wet mop! Only dry mop! It's disgusting! There was sand everywhere the minute we walked through the door! I told the owner about it again for the 3 rd year and he told me to find another place to rent next year! Wow! After dropping $4,500 for 2 wks that's the response we get! All we asked was for a clean vacation home to come to😳

Commenter knows that her review is totally false and a thinly veiled attempt to extort a discount after the fact. Over the 7 years I've rented this property, she is the only guest that has complained. There has never been a review less than 4 stars over that time and I have repeat customers year over year. I was at the property with the cleaner because I have bent over backward for three years in the attempt to please a malcontent. The house was clean. I personally inspected it. I think OCD comes into play in this instance. For 2 weeks I was contacted by neighbors reporting loud arguments and shouting on the screened in porch. The listing clearly states that it is a smoke free property. Upon her departure while walking through the property there was evidence of cigarette smoking on the property. I have never rated a customer less than 5 stars until now. If I could have rated 0 stars that would have been my score. If any VRBO property owner reads this review, I advise that this group is a complaining, never satisfied nightmare. In summation, the house was clean, the bathrooms were clean, the kitchen was clean and the entire house had been swept and vacuumed. I'm sorry that she must have had some personal issues that day that must have contributed to her misdirected dissatisfaction. Good Riddance.

Wonderful stay, cozy house

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fenwick Island, in large part due to this clean and comfortable house. My only suggestion is that the property owner should upload additional photos - our expectations were exceeded! The spacious screened-in porch was the perfect setting for a family crab fest, and we didn't realize until our last day that there is an outdoor shower! The water views were amazing, and we were able to see fireworks right from the porch. This is a great house, and I hope to make this an annual visit!

Great house in a very nice location

We stayed here in July, 2019. The house was very comfortable with a nice open kitchen area and screened in porch for meals and family gathering times and relaxation. The bedrooms were comfortable with two bathrooms providing sufficient accommodation for house guests. Living room with cable TV was also very nice. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with only a short and easy walk to the beach, which was never crowded on a week in the middle of July. Various stores and restaurants are located within a short walk or drive of the house as well. We found this place a very nice beach vacation place for our family!

Very nice Spacious beach house with privacy

Our stay at Jim's house was fantastic! The house was the perfect size and quite spacious with privacy as it is on the corner. Also features a great screened in porch with a really nice kitchen. Weather was great and so was the golf!

Great place - perfect for families

We absolutely loved this house! It was very spacious and perfect for our two families. It was close to the beach and some of Fenwick's best stops. We would definitely recommend staying here and couldn't get enough of the screened in porch.

Great stay in Fenwick

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. We've been coming to Fenwick for 20 years and were thrilled when we found this house in our old neighborhood. It was clean, spacious, and a quick walk to the beach and local restaurants. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch and the view of the canal. A quiet area. We'll definitely be back!

Great low key bungalow, easy walk to the beach and restaurants/shopping

Our family just wrapped up a lovely week at this Fenwick beach rental. The house was just the right size with three bedrooms and two baths....nicely furnished with everything you need. The home is older but has been updated with very nice touches including nice lighting, great art work and furnishings and durable but great looking flooring so you aren't worrying constantly about tracking in the beach sand. Also the full size washer and dryer were super helpful for keeping the laundry pile at bay and the dishwasher and convection range made cooking and cleaning up a breeze. The ceiling fans throughout the house also made it easy to keep the house cool during an especially sweltering August week. Rental comes with a Fenwick parking pass so you can also choose to load up the car with all the beach EQ and drive it down the few blocks to the public parking at the edge of the beach access. Mancini's Italian restaurant on the corner was one of our favorite dinner spots and I can't fail to mention the house also has some very nice neighbors!

Great size, nicely updated, loved the porch and the distance was very walkable

Enjoyed our stay very much. Needed dishtowels! And a swiffer for in between cleanings for crud or sand would be ideal. Slider door difficult, especially for elderly and pregnant. Overall I would rent again if it were cheaper.

Spacious, Comfortable, Clean vacation home!

We stayed at this location in September 2016. The property was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The outdoor deck is a great place to relax after a long day of activity, the kitchen was a well supplied for our needs, and it was great to have in-unit laundry facilities. The owner was very responsive; we had a small snafu getting into the home -- Jim answered our call immediately and had someone at the house to help us in less than 10 minutes. All three bedrooms were very nice. The king size bed has a super-deep mattress, so make sure your linens will fit. It is also a very high bed, so If you're on the short side, you might have a hard time climbing up into it! The beach is a walkable distance, but you do have to cross a busy street. Great access to the state parks, Ocean City, and other activities. The pictures and descriptions of the facility on the site were accurate, which I really appreciate. We have stayed places where we felt misled by "marketing" of the location. This one lived up to its claims. Thanks for a great time along the Delaware shore!

Very impressed. Modern, roomy, comfortable and conveniently located.

This home was beautiful and well located. The house itself was furnished so nicely the moment you walk in the door you are impressed. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. However, my friends and family enjoyed the screened in front porch most of all. We were fortunate enough to be visiting during the full moon, and we had a perfect view of the moon rising over the channel, for the three nights we stayed. The house is also nicely secluded by trees, except of course, the view of the channel. We will definitely be booking again next year!

Great Location, Great Place and GREAT Owner

We found this rental after deciding on a last minute week at the beach. The unit itself is perfect for families with small children - clean, quiet, and close to the beach. It's within easy walking distance, and the owner also provides a parking pass for beach parking if you don't want to make the walk with small kids. Easily sleeps 6 with a great screened porch and kitchen. Close to everything you need in Fenwick Island! Jim, the owner, is really great to work with and is genuinely interested in making your stay there perfect. I highly recommend this place and will stay here again the next time we plan a trip to the beach.

The interior of the house has been updated and is very comfortable. Modern kitchen, new floors, nice screened in porch, gas grill, adequate seating and plenty of parking. Nice master suite with private bath and TV. Updated artwork on walls, comfortable beds and plenty of living space. Great location, short walk to beach, nice view of canal from front and side of house. Close to DQ, farmer's market, several restaurants. Owner is great, very attentive. Highly recommend.
