I did not meet, in person, any of the staff but the unit was very clean and cute! In a pretty quiet location yet convenient to downtown Berkeley. Communication with the owner was great! Bed was comfy! A little pricey for me but the whole area is pricey for me! I would definitly stay here again. Sweet little place!

7 minutes walk from long term parking on McGee (closer streets have weekday 2 hour limit). 7 minutes walk to breakfast cafés (e.g. La Note & Royal Ground Coffee).15 minutes walk to the edge of UC Berkeley campus. Quiet, secluded stay at the back of a garden.

This is a clean little detached cabin in a back yard centrally located. The bed was comfortable and there are basic kitchen utensils to make it easy to have meals in and a small yard space made it possible to have a few guests over.Improvements? A little more cutlery would have been useful and more comfortable outdoor seating would have been ideal, but on a price point, it’s fine.

House was musty smelling. The towels smelled sour after the first use. Shower door didn’t fit quite right, so the bathroom floor mat was saturated after we showered. The house was ‘clean’ but very worn and tired. We didn’t want to spend any longer than we had to in the house. We didn’t use any of the appliances because we didn’t want to be in there. Location was good.
