Had a great stay. Cute little cabin. Close to all the areas we wanted to see. Seneca has fun little downtown area. Close to Clemson campus to take in a football game. Pool was nice and clean as well as the cabin.
The cabin met our needs. We pretty much just used it as a place to sleep during Clemson move-in weekend. The host was very responsive and the location was convenient to campus.
This cabin worked out perfectly for us! Several times before, we have stayed at local hotels when visiting our son, who is attending Clemson University. This stay was such a better option for so many reasons. Brock is an excellent host. He is responsive and accommodating, ensuring that the stay is smooth and comfortable. It was great having the kitchen and dining area for family meals. Most especially, Brock allows family dogs to join in the stay at his cabin, and the cabin has ample, maintained grassy fields to walk the dogs. All this made for an easy and memorable long weekend with our son! I highly recommend Clemson parents to consider staying at this cabin for their next visit!
The cabin is small, but charming, and the host was one of the best we’ve stayed with, he’s worth 5 stars on his own. There are a few items one should be aware of before booking, just in case. The property has a loft with K bed, and the spiral wooden staircase up is quite narrow and could potentially be a bit difficult to ascend for some. The bathroom doesn’t really have anywhere to put your toiletries, not a big deal, but for women like me (skincare, hair tools, etc) you need a “shower caddy” mentality fit it.There isn’t an iron/ironing board or steamer. Bring your own.I don’t think there was a hairdryer, I bring my own, so I’d suggest you do the same. It’s a cute cabin, tiny but sufficient for light meal prep kitchen, comfy couch and Roku TV.
We enjoyed the cabin and all of the touches that made it feel homey. Everything was very neat and clean and ready for us. The host was a great communicator at just the right times, which made our stay easy and stress free. The view from the loft was beautiful! We love the area (never been before) and found many things to see and do. All in all it was a wonderful stay, well worth it.
Amazing spot for stay for our Clemson graduate! So cute and perfect spot for us to get to Clemson to celebrate with our graduate and also get away from the congestion of campus!!!! Would def come back!!
This cabin was perfect for our long weekend. It is quiet and cozy for couples. It seems like you are miles away, but really a quick drive to food and shopping. Brock was a fantastic host and responds quickly to questions. This will definitely stay in our favorite ls for future trips!
I loved staying here! Cabin was very clean, and Brock was a great host. He responded to all of my messages extremely quickly and is a very understanding host. As for the Cabin, it’s a gorgeous wooden cabin, in a beautiful area. I loved leaving the blinds open because you are greeted with one of the prettiest sunrises from the loft!

Thank you Connor for such kind words! We are so thrilled you enjoyed your stay!
My friend and I came to stay for the weekend as we were racing bikes in Clemson for the weekend. The cabin was just perfect. It was cozy and clean and provided all the comforts of home within a short drive to Clemson. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend.

The A/C couldn’t keep up with the heat outside so the inside temp was around 84/85 in the evenings until a few hours after the sun went down. We couldn’t sleep in the master bedroom because it was too warm in the loft. We had to keep all the blinds and curtains drawn to keep it from getting warmer. It was not what we expected. We kayaked Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee and were ready to cool off and relax but this wasn’t the cabin to do so.

Thank you, Heather, for your feedback. I’m truly sorry that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. I do want to clarify a few important points for future guests:
Your concerns about the A/C were shared only two hours prior to checkout, so unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to address them during your visit. Following your feedback, we had the unit professionally inspected and confirmed to be functioning properly. The HVAC technician noted that the thermostat display tends to read about 3-4 degrees warmer than the actual air temperature, which may have contributed to the perception of inadequate cooling.
That said, we understand that during the peak of summer — especially in a cabin that receives direct sunlight for nearly 12 hours a day — keeping indoor temperatures as cool as a hotel may not always be realistic. Still, we strive to provide a comfortable experience and, as a gesture of goodwill, issued you a partial refund.
We haven’t received similar concerns from other guests this summer, but your feedback has prompted us to reevaluate how we set expectations for hot-weather stays. We hope you were still able to enjoy your time at the nearby lakes and appreciate your acknowledgment of our cleanliness and communication.
