My second stay. It is a wonderful and quiet respite after spending full days with family. Air conditioning was a plus during the heat spell.

We’re so glad to have hosted you again! Happy to hear the home was a relaxing spot and that the air conditioning helped during the heat. We’d love to welcome you back anytime.
Overall it’s very good and a short walk to everything happening on Clinton and Division streets. The pocket door to the bathroom had some damage (I’m guessing from a previous guest) that made closing it tricky. There was also a missing light above the bed that looked like previous damage? The bed was a pullout and so the mattress left a lot to be desired. The mini split and washer / dryer were great though! I think with some fixes this would be a stellar spot to stay for a weekend in a charming part of SE Portland. But thankful that this spot was available for a last minute booking.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful review. We’re glad you enjoyed the location, mini split, and washer/dryer, and that the home worked well for your last-minute trip. We really appreciate you pointing out the bathroom door and light — we’ll make sure those get fixed right away. Pullout beds can be hit-or-miss, so we’ll also look into options to make that more comfortable.
We love this neighborhood too and are glad you got to experience it. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to host you again once these updates are made!
I was so excited to stay in this charming tiny home. I have never stayed in a tiny home before and was not sure what to expect. First impression I was immediately wow’d by the aesthetics of the home. Photos are accurate and straight out of Pinterest. Adorable! However, there were more ‘cons’ than anything. There is an apparent ant problem with visible ant traps in the corners and windowsills of the home. We saw several ants during our stay and made sure our luggage was off the floor. Wasps. We killed two wasps during our 1 night stay. Oh, and the washer….we were excited to finally wash our clothes after returning from Cannon Beach. The whole entire house vibrated during the entire wash cycle. It was very loud and shook the entire home. We wondered if the neighbors are questioning what is happening inside this little home?? We had to remove the glass and ceramic cups off the shelves in case they came tumbling down. The shower was great; hot water and decent water pressure….BUT it smelled like someone urinated in the shower and there were hair clippings on the shower wall from the previous guest. No microwave and we couldn’t figure out how to use the electric stovetop. There were no instructions for the stove and we gave up after pushing several buttons and hearing constant beeping….so we ate cold leftovers. We stayed here for less than 24 hours, so it is what it is. Many improvements need to be made. I would not stay here again.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the charm and design of the tiny home, but we’re truly sorry the rest of your experience fell short.
The cleanliness issues you mentioned in the shower are unacceptable, and we’ve already addressed this with our cleaning team. We’ve also scheduled pest control to ensure ants and wasps aren’t a problem going forward. As for the washer, it’s a compact model that can sometimes vibrate more than a standard unit, but we’ll be rebalancing it and looking at noise reduction options.
We’ll also be adding clear instructions for the stovetop so future guests don’t run into the same frustration. Your comments help us improve, and we appreciate you pointing these things out. We’re sorry this wasn’t the right fit for you and wish it had been a more comfortable stay.
I enjoyed my stay in the tiny home. It has everything I needed and more, including an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. The host communication is top notch, super fast, friendly and helpful.
